I was 1 year(s) old when Jerry was ripping this, and happily listening to it today over 30 years later. caught a few D&C shows pre-pandemic, but man do I wish I could have just seen Jerry (& Brent) at least once. what legends
I love this song perhaps my favorite. I also rank Bertha a close second. I had a bird who loved Bertha and would break into dancing when I played it. I also love Row Jimmy, perhaps because my name is Julie. I also have never hear a bad Row Jimmy. Hunter at his best with Gerry. God I miss Gerry. Thank God he and Hunter left us the music. It has gotten me through much of life’s troubles. One listens and troubles are eased. The first time I heard the dead at 13, I knew the relationship I began would change everything,
I loved the October '89 run because the boys nailed the fan favorites like dark star and uncle john's, but they also really did a great job pulling out those underrated tunes that are so damn good when done right! Attics, Row Jimmy, We Bid You Goodnight, Stagger Lee, Queen Jane, and all the rest.

Just love this song in all it's iterations over the years. Jerry's playing always shines tenderly.
This is one of the Dead’s best songs. Come to think of it, I’ve never heard a bad Row Jimmy.
Yup
I dont think they happen. I know I read that Jerr always really liked it personally.
Had a great time at this show

Not too fast and not too slow
