It's gorgeous, I'd live there if I had the cash, if only for that bird song. The lady showing us around the properly has a lovely soothing voice.

I realize this listing is 4 months old, but just wanted to say what a beautiful space - both the property and the grounds - and whilst I guess this looks like it was filmed before Summer took hold, it’s beautifully embedded into its beautiful surroundings.
One question though - after looking online at a lot of properties on the Black Isle, around Fortrose, Dingwall, Avoch and the surrounding area, there seems to be a predominance of what looks like young pine used for doors, door jams/surrounds, skirting and other joinery in this area. Is this the style of the area nowadays for renovations of older properties and new builds?
I spent many summers and Easters (and any other excuse for a holiday) living in our holiday home on James Street in Avoch during the 1970s/1980s, but I don’t remember such a massive amount of pine in our house, or any of our neighbours, or relatives who lived in the area.
Grateful for you and other property people for sharing homes for sale on TH-cam, as I get closer to finally biting the bullet and making the move back up to this beautiful location, after being away from my roots for so long 👌

Small for the price. Low ceiling heights. No log burner. The layout of the utility room was not right. No sink etc. needs an extra room off the kitchen. I’d call it the dining room. Lacking in character / styling. 345k it’s a room short for that. Maybe not for me, me thinks. It wasn’t terrible. I was just expecting more.

There was lots of interest in this one - sold for well over asking too!

@@markgollanI’m not surprised that it sold for well over the asking price, as the location was great, the land was expansive and had room for not only expanding the property (pending local authority approvals), but also for perhaps developing the site further with holiday homes, or better still, a little bit of self-sufficient agriculture 👍

Well I started to say 'so neutral everywhere' then realized it is a new build, so that explains that ! Not very attractive but it's a 'nice' home which has everything - just needs some character ! The garden is huge, and why on earth anybody would enjoy a garage built 200 yards from the house when it rains is beyond me ! The kitchen police are not going to like the frig not matching the fancy cooker either - better to let the buyers choose their own appliances ! Of course if it's a bargain none of the criticisms would matter !

Like most houses in and around Inverness it is way overpriced. A new property… it probably cost around £150k to build, if that much. Best option is to buy a plot and build your own. You’ll get exactly what you want and spend a lot less 😂
