  • If your vocals are still sounding warped, weird, or downright bad after adding pitch correction, chances are you need to go back and do some more vocal editing. If the pitch of an original recording is too far off, no amount of pitch correction is gonna help get it back on track... or, is it?
In this video, I'll be walking you through how to fix your pitchy vocals using the Flex Pitch feature in Logic Pro X. This will help transform those pitchy performances into workable, studio quality vocal recordings. Come on in and join!

This was one of the best explanations of Flex Pitch that I have seen in years - or possibly ever. Well done, good sir.

There is one really bad thing about flex pitch...It messes up the audio quality specially in the high end. I would really love to use flex pitch on everything, because it's fast and easy, but when you compare the audio before flex pitch and after, or flex pitched vocal to autotune pitched vocal, the difference in quality is massive...Try it yourself. If they will change the algorithm somehow that it would not mess up the quality, then hands down it will be the best tool. 🙏

There is a quality difference between flex pitch and autotune for sure. But flex pitch has gotten muuuuch better since it was first released, and I expect it to continue to improve for the future! For now, Melodyne is still my go to audio editor!

@@Music-By-Mattie Yeah, I know. I actually tried it again a few months ago just out of curiosity if they changed the algorithm, but the effect on the high end is still there unfortunately. It's a great and fast tool, but just to have that in mind. Cheers🙏
