I'ownknow bruh, this to me takes the fun out of just making good jams.. I could be wrong but like you said, unpredictability.. I believe a hit is something jokas put money behind.. There have been thousands of hits outside of bilboard.. They push the repetition into jokas subconscious on the radio to make it popular.. I feel.. I use to work in radio and you're like, who the flip picked this, then a month later, yo stankin A$$ singing that crap.. And it's all subconscious... I say do you unless, you're on that route.. Man, outstanding video for sure, you put some thought into this bruh.. Great work.. Good mix too dude.. I see the structure or hear it.. outstanding again young man..

It has great arrangement and structure but it feels boring. Maybe lower the background in the beginning with a side chain compressor and also do a pitch rise for the drop in the beginning vocals

For the longest time I used a TLM 103 and had it going into my Avalon 737 pre….it sounded fantastic but it took a real long time to get the vocals to sit inside the mix….sometimes a couple days….then the Sony C-80 came out and I had the TLM 103 for about 13 years already so I could take a chance at the $500 price tag and give it a go….wow did it ever pay off…,I barely have to process my vocals after I go through the Sony C-80, my vocals are a lot more forward in the right ranges and just a little compression gives me a real high quality major studio sound….I’m still running it through the Avalon preamp. I have a few mics including the Rode NT1A and the shure Sm57 and Sm 58….i can tell anyone with confidence that the Sony C-80 blows them all away…including the TLM 103.

Nice! The most I've done so far (I'm in the crude days right now) is eleven. I'm a deep bass (G1-E4) which is my focus, but the top end isn't there; time to work on the falsetto, I guess. But this is a great example of where I'm headed, hopefully. A lot of great technique advice in a concise format. Thanks! Some things I found out: Use noise reduction because it's additive. The chords can be in the same timbre, but change it a little for anything you don't want to get lost. If you somehow get your pitch right on and things are hard to differentiate, you can move a few a couple of cents.
