Great lesson😍😍😍👏🏽
Thank you Lina 🙏
question...are some of these adjectives considered active participles? I have noticed that they seem like they are conjugated similarly. not sure, would appreciate a little breakdown please! great videos btw! very very very very helpful ketir.
Yes, they may be also AP. I would love to make a video about that in the future
Can’t we use also ذكي for good food ? I think I heard this meaning in Palestine.
Mazboot Vincent. Correct. In Palestinian and Jordanian, the word (zaki) زكي means good food. But written with a Zaai. While clever is written with ذ a thaal.
Zaki literally means something that smells good in Standard Arabic, this is where it comes from :)))
الف شكر عليك ❤️
@@dawood9390 Please don't confuse learners Dillon!! زكي and زاكي are delicious, lovely smelling or nice. While ذكي is smart.
Thank you! Please correct my English as you always do, but don't confuse Arabic learners. Thanks
I love YOU 😍😍😍😍😍
🙏🙏🙏❤️
This is a really good lesson with so many great words. Hope I can remember them all. Have you got any tips for me? Thank you, Rana!
😍 Hi Kevin,
I am super glad you like it.
Tips for remembering the words you mean?
Yes, it`s pretty overwhelming all the words. I`m English but live in Germany so we have loads of Arabic speakers here now and I know lots of people to practise with so that good. I want to switch from FusHa to spoken Arabic now. I really want to become fluent and also understand what people are saying and that`s why your videos are so useful.
There are two things I always recommend my students to do:
1. Always practice, if you have no time practicing, find something to watch in the dialect.
2. Never be afraid of speaking. If you have 90% confidence, well that's not enough. You need to give it all 100% of confidence to speak to whoever, whenever and be the person who starts the conversation (we love that).

Thank you so much! There are so many ways to describe people in the Levant--wow! For instance, شقي also means naughty, right? And if you tell someone that they're brave in Jordan, I believe you would say, for instance, قلبك قوي. And this is my first time hearing غبية. From the Jordanian dialect, I know هبلة and سخيفة. Do you use غبية for people and things (for example, a stupid idea or stupid movie)?
Hehe we sometimes use ghabi/e but only with very close people
رنا كمان كتير حبابة، مش هيك؟
😁 إي أنا كتير حبابة. وأنتا كمان
Shukran Rana! I think there's a mistake - at 2:46, it's written بكزه - should it be بكره?
Ahla w sahla Zahra. It is written correctly but there is a cute (fatha) (a short vowel) on the top of the (R). Maybe it looks like a dot:)
@@arabicwithrana Ahhh okay! Shukran Rana, love your videos 😊🤍
