If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.
Hi Eager, thanks for your video! I would like to know if it is necessary to buy ferry tickets in advance or if we can buy them on site on the day of travel. Thank you for your attention.
Hi, I was only visiting, but I think you just buy them when you show up. That's what we all did. Worst case, if it's sold out, you go on the next ferry in one hour. I don't think it can sell out. 1/3 of the island would have to be on board. You should be fine.
In Bangkok now, have problem at bars I've visited for long time, owner and staff keep asking for drinks! 😁 I can handle it, plus side I keep having to find new bars... 😊
I hear ya. It is the slow season, and everyone is hurting for business. That won't happen at the pubs on 33/1. Royal Oak, Osheas or Robin Hood. The Hangover on Soi 22 is mellow, too. Other bars, those girls need to sell a certain number each night. But, it's your cash. You buy a ladies' drink when you want.

Loved your video. Our time spent in French Polynesia, including Moorea was the highlight of our year. Loved it.
It was a great island. I live in Bangkok, so I met friends from California. I did a few videos in French Polynesia. Thanks for watching
it seems some of my San Diego friends were in Tahiti about the same time you are. Did you have problems with the short airline strike too?
No I lucked out. It lasted 5 days. The day I landed and I left on Air New Zealand. My buddy left yesterday. The first flight to LAX

Hi @@EagerExpat ! Thank you very much! I have another question, please..... are there any scooters or little cars for rent in Bora Bora?
@@vanessabisognin2739 I assume so, but I Haven't been to Bora Bora. This was Moorea. Yes to both questions on Moorea.

Once you get to Moorea, are there any scooter rentals or taxi nearby?
You can rent a scooter. Taxi is limited and pretty expensive. Maybe $25 to go 5 miles. We rented a small car. About $150 day
