Thank you very much Vinay, ur recipe was good except for d curry patta as will not hv u d goan taste. It will taste good, grind 1 small tomato. R u a goan ?
Vinay, thanks for this recipe. at 6 mts. 17 secs you say cover and keep, but in the end you caution us not to cover. Could you please clarify for new hands at cooking. Thanks so much. God Bless!
How much oil does one require to put to saute the onions ? In all your recipes you fail to give the amount of oil - one tablespoon/2 tablespoons/3 tablespoons. PLEASE add oil quantity to all your recipes to complete them .
I don't add oil quantity because I use less oil to saute so it takes much long time. It's according to one's preference. Minimum oil required to saute onion is 2 tblspn.
The taste fully depends on the fish and coconut milk, if it is fresh it will give a perfect taste, other ingredients are just to give the Goan curry flavor. As you can see in the comment section many tried my recipe and they are satisfied.

Can we add spices & coconut together while grinding
God bless thank you for sharing
Yes if you are not extracting the coconut milk you can grind all the ingredients together into a fine paste.
Nice homely recipe
Thankyou very much

Thank you very much Vinay, ur recipe was good except for d curry patta as will not hv u d goan taste. It will taste good, grind 1 small tomato. R u a goan ?
Yes I am a Goan I like to use curry leaves in my rossa kodhi (coconut milk curry) it gives nice aroma try and you will love it.
Cocum is missing
This is exceptional but v goans don't use curry leaves in our fish curry I must try this
I am a goan too, I like using curry leaves in rossa kodhi ( coconut milk curry) it gives nice aroma try and you will love it
This is different...Goan fish curry is always oil free....why have you added tempering?
Looks delicious I think Pomfret cooks fast abt 5-6 mins n cooks in its own steam
Please watch video carefully as fish is not over cooked as it was always on simmer .
@@pintovinayscuisine5366 yes watched carefully normally I boil the curry on medium flame any reason to simmer the curry?
It's a coconut milk curry so there are chances of getting it split.
@@pintovinayscuisine5366 ok tks
Woooow❣❣ Thank you for the wonderful recipe, but in my country "Japan", fresh spices are not available.
Nice to hear from you 😊 I love Japanese food too 😋 I feel bad that you are not getting the spices.
Vinay, thanks for this recipe. at 6 mts. 17 secs you say cover and keep, but in the end you caution us not to cover. Could you please clarify for new hands at cooking. Thanks so much. God Bless!
Don't cover it while cooking by mistake I said that.
Recipe is very good but cut the fish tail little bit.
Thankyou and regarding tail I like it that way.

This is not traditional Goan fish curry
I tried this... But sorry to say this was not satisfying my taste buds... Neither any one in my family..
