Oh Jennifer .....how exciting that Warren said the best harvest this year ever!!! I'm so happy for yall!! I know Warren works so hard year round protecting, watching over and tending to those fields. God is good!! Blessings to you and your family! ❤❤😊
Jennifer... I always love your recipes, but I've gotta give it to you today. With Warrens reactions to your goodies today... I'd say you hit several home runs. That grin says it all. His statement saying the caramel sauce tastes JUST like what his mom used to make - that's like the ULTIMATE compliment in my book. (Please tell him that his beard looks GREAT on him too.) I'd be lying if I didn’t admit that after 40+ years of living in Minnesota, I'm always a bit jealous of men being able to grow a beard that keeps his face a little warmer!😉 God bless your family & prayers for a great, safe finish to harvest for this year. 🙏🙏🙏
I always get so excited following your cranberry harvest. I am SO glad you had a good harvest! I am definitely trying the caramel trick in the crock pot. I'd heard of it before, but never tried it. I'm all excited now. lol We will do our part purchasing cranberries when they hit our stores! I love to can cranberry relish and fill the freezer with many bags too. I always think of your family when we buy them because, even if they don't come from you guys, they come from some family who worked hard to produce them. God bless!
Congratulations on such an amazing harvest. Warren and all of your family worked so hard. I'm glad that it paid off. Thank you for your videos, Jennifer. You are truly and inspiration and it is so fun to have you share your family with all of us.
So thankful that you had an excellent crop this year and I hope that Warren can get some rest after working so hard. You did a great job with your meal planning and serving delicious meals...❤
Congratulations on the bountiful harvest! All of Warren's diligence and hard work have been rewarded. The caramel trick is great. I have always made it stove top, but set it and forget it in the crockpot is awesome. Jennifer, I feel like you are my soul sister after you showed off your kitchen counters. My Mom always said kitchen counter clutter was a blessing. It meant you are able to provide well for your family. We had a decorative plate hanging in her kitchen that said "Dirty dishes have a tale to tell. While others may go hungry, we are eating very well!" I think this often when I am about to tackle a sink full of dishes. I love Joe's little "Hi, guys" in the videos. "Hi, Joe!"
Those are words to remember especially on the days when the dishes pile is sky high! I hope you're having a wonderful fall. Maybe we'll get some more of those chilly, yet sunny fall days. I love those!
Loving all the videos you’ve put out recently! You’re a very busy lady. Thanks so much for bringing us along even though I know that in itself is very time consuming! I always look forward to your videos! Have a good weekend! ❤
So happy y'all are blessed with a great crop this year. That water where the cranberries are is so beautiful and blue. It looks like a swimming pool. Lol
Hi Jennifer from WesternAustralia. You can also boil a tin of condensed milk on the stove for about 3 hours. Keep topping the water up. I do this to make banoffee pie. Biscuit base, then sliced bananas, then the condensed milk caramel and then thickened cream with a topping of flaked/ grated chocolate. Delicious 😀
Love watching cranberry farming, so interesting. I need to try that chicken recipe...and the carnel is very good. Congratulations on the wonderful crop!
Congratulations to Warren on his fantastic crop of cranberries this year! He should be feeling very proud of all of his very hard work and the hard work of his great crew. Thank you for sharing the great way to make caramel in the crock pot. I can’t wait to try it!
Jennifer your meal was Warren approved for sure. I love cranberries. I'm ashamed to say I haven't watched your channel in awhile & I couldn't believe how much Joe has grown. He is very handsome now. Thanks for sharing your day with us.
Congrats on an amazing crop! We have been making condensed milk caramel for over 30 years, it's amazing! Unopened cans of caramel are shelf stable too, just pop a couple of sheets of paper towel under them to stop rust marks on your shelf. We love to make Banana Caramel Pie with it. Might just have to boil up a couple of cans tomorrow!
I received both of your cookbooks a couple of weeks ago. I've already made several recipes. So yummy! Can't wait to try this one! Nothing beats good ol' home cookin'! I just bought a few pounds of cranberries. Can't wait to get some of your recipes in the oven.
Seeing some of the cranberry process was so neat! Thanks for sharing. Wow, I was curious to see how the caramel turned out, I’m really going to have to try that!
What a gorgeous crop! I’m so happy you were blessed with such a bountiful harvest. I’m loving my new cookbooks. I already have cranberry and pumpkin recipes marked lol… the best thing I’ve done for myself lately was to order your cookbooks. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and week ahead ❤
Thank you so much for letting us have a peak into cranberry harvest!! These videos have been my favorite ones!!! All your videos are good!! It's like a safe place to go for a few minutes of comfort from everything else going on!! ❤️
My counter looks pretty much the same- organized chaos- but I know where everything is. My house was built around 1825-1830, they didn't have all the cool gizmos we have now. Enjoyed your story about the cranberries. Congratulations on a wonderful harvest!
Hi Jennifer :) thank you for being part of this collaboration. This is the first time I found and watched your channel, but it certainly wont be the last. I enjoyed this yummy recipe. But I also enjoyed seeing harvesting the cranberries. I have never seen that and it weas very cool and unique to see oin a homestead video. Thanks much :)
Love these video you have a great family I've been watching for about 3 yrs now joe is a grown man Peter and Maria are growing so fast I need to see more of sam
Congratulations on the amazing harvest!! Warren definitely works hard all year round. I grew up on a farm. I do definitely miss it but it's no easy work. Hope you and your family have an amazing week!
I loved your video. Joe is so sweet. Thank you for the tour to the cranberry fields. It amazes me how they are harvested. And the crockpot chicken looked delicious. I think the thighs would be better than the breast also. They don't dry as bad. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoy watching your channel.
Yum cheesy, tater tot, chicken and bacon casserole. A great addition to this collaboration....looking forward to seeing your cranberries in the stores for the holidays.Thank you
I’m so happy you guys were blessed with a great cranberry season. And caramel in the crockpot…..wonder if I can stock more than one can of the milk in there. Thanks for sharing both recipes and the harvest.
Cheesy Chicken Tator Tot Casserole sounds delicious! Tonight, we had the Philly Cheesesteak Crockpot recipe from your cookbook. Wow, that meat is so tasty! I think I would even love it just served over mashed potatoes! Thanks for another video!
Oh my goodness. This has been my favorite video so far for Crocktober. I will definitely be checking out your channel. Thank you for introducing your home & family, and sharing the cranberry harvest with us. How wonderful this is your best harvest yet! I love this meal as well. It’s one I pull out every Fall. I have made the carmel like this on the stove too. But here in Michigan it’s all about apples, so yes, it is definitely good with apples. I will have to try it with cranberries. I never thought of that before! Thanks again for sharing!❤
Thank you, Jennifer. I love that this can easily be halved. I still love, love, love crock pot and carb-heavy meals but Hubby is SO PICKY, hates veggies and doesn't really love casseroles. It is sure hard to feed him with what I'd love to cook, haha. I love your very real kitchen! Joe's position on the island is very definitely something I look for in every video these days, bless him for having that spot he loves for his own. I wonder if my Wisconsin ancestors were able to take advantage of cranberry harvests...I do know that my paternal Ggrandmother was a teacher and I actually have her original Wisconsin state teacher's certificate. She married an appellate court judge (who was sadly, a raging alcoholic) had three sons and as far as I know now, her husband's family line died out with all those boys.
So happy forWarren and the family for a fantastic harvest. Hide the caramel, Warren is going to eat it all. The chicken casserole looks yummy, but you are right, you have to watch chicken crock pot recipes or they turn out tough.
Jennifer, my husband is from Argentina and we have been making our caramel like that forever! We lovingly call that Dulce De Leche! We use it to spread on shortbread cookies turned into sandwich cookies and dipped in chocolate. Or birthday chocolate cakes! Spread in middle and lighter layer on top spread with frosting refrigerate overnight! Delicious 🤤
Looking forward to trying your chicken tater tot casserole and the caramel. Find an interesting to see how the cranberries are harvested. Love cranberries!
Happy Crocktober🍁🎃 cranberries yum. I use a lot of cranberries! I watch entire videos! Thankful you got a good harvest this season. Lots of crops didn’t have good seasons. So this made me happy! This looked really good. I hope you have a blessed week! Wendy🙏🇺🇸🌎

I’m glad that Warren and family had a good harvest. I have learned so much about the growing and harvesting of cranberries. I’ve never used cranberries for anything except making fresh cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving. I screenshot some of your cranberry recipes so I can try them when the berries appear in the store. Have a good rest for a little while.
I put my sweetened condensed milk in 4oz jars with new canning lids and cook in crockpot for about 6 hours or until I get the desired Carmel color. The jars seal in the process. Hubby loves it. Also your crockpot recipe sounds fabulous. Wrote the recipe down. Thank you.
I am so happy to see how excited Warren is about the harvest! Praise God ❤ Also, tickled at how fast he was getting those cranberries on a fork and into the caramel.
@acountrylife Please know your TH-cam efforts are nourishment for my soul. It brings peace to sit down and lose myself in the simplest of chores completed or celebrate all your happy moments with you.
New subscriber. I like what you are doing and appreciate all the explanation about cranberries. I have been a fan of cranberries for a long time. I have several jars of cranberry juice for my grandson in the cupboard.thomas use to put out cranberry bagels but we haven’t seen any since Covid in 2020. They are out this year. Hooray my daughter bought me six bags of them for Christmas.

❤🙏 hi Jennifer its MRS GRANNY INGRID ANNA 👵 from PA , a joined member &Subscriber . Do you remember the Galloping Gourment in 1980s he would make caramel sauce also with sweet condensed milk wrapped in foil first you break a hole on the top of the can then you put it in a saucepan filled with water to the top and simmer it for 1 hour and you would have caramel sauce try,its works real good very tasty..
Warren and you all, deserve this bounty! So much hard work, mixed in with smiles and some fun. I hope Warren gets some rest in the coming days, and maybe you all can have a little getaway too. 🎉🎉 thanks, Jennifer for always taking us along and helping us learn. So fun!
So fun! And bonus - lots of cooking in between.
Hi Jennifer,
I can't believe you're the first crocktober video that come across. I have a lot of catch up to do.
Your video was awesome, thank you so much. I'm going to try that caramel too. Thank you for everything 😊❤
