My dude. I never comment on TH-cam videos but I had to just say thank you for this! I was stuck in step 12, the gears just kept falling out all over the place. This video was so helpful, especially because I could compare with your model and see that some of my little yellow washers had gotten smooshed together and I needed to pry them back apart. I was ready to throw this in the fire pit! So thank you. Mine is now complete, though a little fragile. :)

I spray the parts with F 2 airplane wax. I also use it on my stain glass projects. Great for polishing your car, household furniture etc.

Thanks so much for this video, , I've all most finished this model, just got the clock and face to do, the timer kind of works, I might have over tightened some parts??? Not sure., but it kind of works, but I'm not using it for the timer anyway, or the clock really, it's just a model, an will be on a shelf, as a talking point, I just enjoy making these models, I'm no professional, if it works great, if it don't work the way it supposed to, I ain't taking it apart again, ha., Great vid mate, great tips, on how to complete, 👍👍👍

Hi, i would love to know in section 11 how to stop the gears from jumping out. I noticed you had some trouble too. Great video!
Once it is fully assembled it does work better. Gear allignment is a issue I had. I just kept tinkering with the gears and frame to get the gear to allign.

I reach that point. The small spring is missing. Very frustrating!
Every kit that I have received from them has missing parts.
The instructions are hard to follow.
If you can deal with that, find them enjoyable.
I'm having trouble figuring out where the large spring attached
The outer end of the larger spring goes in the slot on part E14 (section 10 page 11 for E14). I can send you a photo of the spring on mine if that would help. Please find my email address on the About page ( www.youtube.com/@rgauck/about ). Remind me of the puzzle and the spring.
Any advice on how to proceed when one of the parts breaks? The tip of C11 broke off and now I’m stuck.

stuck on step 11, it always bounces off, any help? 😅😢. Did get it once but when i tried adding the gear it fell off again, honestly quite frustrates
If your speaking about the two halves, B14 and B15 in Section 12 and D22 and D23 in Section 15 will help with that.
@@rgauck no, i'm talking about the part where you have to insert the small spring, and it keeps bouncing off 😅
I see what you mean now. C15, C16, C18 moved from the front of the clock very easily, There is nothing that really keeps it from moving. I can understand show the spring would slide out of E1.
You may want to change the order in which D20, and D21 are installed on Page 13 (top left of page). The directions indicate D20 is installed first then 2 D21's. You might try installing D21 then D20 then the other D21.

There is a battery operated clock on one side and a timer on the other side. The timer uses the spring and pendulum. I have not tested it for accuracy.
