Disagree with folks who said John Gavin had the acting skills of a plank. He might not have been Brando but he had a real flair for comedy--he should have done more.
Great opening to the classic 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' with the multi-dimensional Julie Andrews. Dear TH-cam, please oblige with the whole movie, though I just may have a copy at home in my vast collection of DVDs.
I loved this film. I also love that she wanted to be a modern woman (for that time) but the fellow she wanted to marry didn't want a modern woman. 😆 Timeless idea.

And also on LP Vinyl. We bought a copy when the film first came out and I used to love to sing along to all of the songs.
