I'm 37 and this was one of my favorite movies. I forget how old I was when I first saw it but, I remember the feeling of loving to watch this over and over.
I've got you both beat at age 59. I don't think that I would have seen this movie when it first came out in 1967 because I was to young, but we had the record album, and we used to watch it everytime it hit the theaters, and I still watch my copy of it on video tape.
This was such a great movie and Julie Andrews was superb in it. She was beautiful.
Interesting that Julie Andrews and James Fox are both British playing American but James Fox mastered the American accent while Julie Andrews still sounded British. Everyone was so in love with Julie Andrews that nobody seemed to care.
Dude, the first time I watched this movie I was 9 and I fully believed that James was American. Much later as an adult, like 2 years ago I found out that not only was he British, he was POSH British. The kind of British accent American's use when they joke with their friends or theater directors want a uppity snob. My jaw hit the floor when I heard his real voice.
This type of comedy is sooo underrated. and yes, julie, sigh. so dreamy.
The MOST under-rated Musical of all time. A TOP 5 that too many people have never seen.
I finally got to watch the movie. It was great. She was great when she said her lines. I even liked her outfits. Especially Miss Dorothy’s clothes. They were gorgeous.
Such a fun and funny film. Andrews at the height of her popularity and charm. 💖🎶💖
I loved this movie so much when it came out that I saved up to buy the soundtrack and learned every word to every song. Why don’t they make movies like this anymore?
At 6.39 Jimmy leans outside of the matte painting. I never noticed that before and I’ve seen this movie 1000 times.
I haven't seen this since it's first theatrical run. Got to see it again. Also, Jimmy sure fills a suit out nicely
I saw it in the movie theater, too. James Fox was such a live wire in this movie. It was strange to see him later in films like "The Remains of the Day" after he came back to films. He looked so different. You can't help recognizing the Fox family members, though, performing in so many British PBS shows today.
"I've lot my glasses (and the top of my head)." Never Mind that, It's Still a Wonderful Movie!
The original Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman
Omg I did this play when I was in high school 🤣🙌🏻 I love it

My favourite ever film
this was hysterically funny. BAHAHAHAAHAHA
Such an incredible sequence....only by Harold Lloyd..
Gotta love early green screen 6:36
🔥🔥🔥
would love to see a series or biopic on Harold Lloyd who we now know did not do most of his own stunts and lived a life full of well kept scandals.
I’m terrified of heights! The palms of my hands were sweating just watching them be so high up on the building.
Me too my stomach goes over and over watching it I hate heights too lol 😅😂
Dance scene is my favorite. And raspberries is second, sigh. 6-13-2022
dont recall seeing this part when it was on tv years ago, i guess they cut a lo t out of it.. Millie was one of those movies you see once and they seemed to be pointless, but this was a good scene

I can't find my copy of this movie. Thankyou for sharing.
I bought a copy and got it today on dvd I've seen it years ago and so I can't remember much of it but know the music from it obviously, Julie Andrews is one of our British treasures , she never seems to change even at 88 she looks great , long may she continue 🎉😊😊😊😊😊😊
How did he get down from there? I forgot....
John Gavin was such a hottie.
Congratulations if you made it here early and found this comment 🏆
UNA ESCENA ÉPICA......MILI...UNA CHICA MODERNA 👍✌️
I saw this when it came out in the movie theaters in 1967 with my mother. We had a wonderful time watching it. Today, this is still one of our family's favorite movies.
