In this list the Jaguar XK120, Beautiful curves from every angle and an engine that made great sounds.
Just by looks i'm going with the Corvette, but that white Thunderbird looks great too!
As a gear-head, I have no issue with your list. I have owned '57 Thunderbird (in 1980-81) and regret to this day for selling it. Nonetheless, I suggest you expand your list to 12 iconic cars. Even though it is not a performance car, the Volkswagen Type 1 (Beetle) should be on this list. I am sure you may argue it was more ionic for the '60s, but it started in '50s and those early bugs are demanding unbelievable prices from collectors. The other car on the list would be MG which I know is a car company. The evolution of MGs cars in the '50s made available affordable sports cars for those of us, at the time, could not afford a Jag or a Porsche. The MG TC, TD and TF were classic pre-war body design, but the MGA set the stage in 1955 for MG as a fun unique affordable sports car. Another car to think about would be a SAAB 93 and 96. These cars made acceptable front wheel drive cars and set the stage for the Mini and future front wheel drive autos. With that, good video and I will subscribe.
Difficult choice, but since I am a big fan of pininfarina I will go for the Alfa Romeo.
Citroen ds
Quite an american point of view.
Correct, that was also the focus of this video!
