A great tutorial for a beginner , like myself. Thank you. I think I’ll be using my quilting bar for the first time with this lovely table topper. Would also make a nice set of placemats. 👏🏻
Wonderful tutorial. What a great teacher you are! I am awaiting delivery of my upgraded sewing machine, then I will be attempting this piece. Thank you, you've given me the confidence to give it a go.
You are a very clear teacher. I love the way you set out the timings of your tutorial so your students can easily refer back to a point. Well done and thank you.
@Just Jude Designs Thank you so much. I really enjoy watching your videos. The way you explain everything so simple makes sewing easy for a beginner like myself. I'm from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹
Kona is a nice quality 100% quilting cotton in solid colors. JoAnn Fabrics (if you are in the U.S.) carries Kona. Kona also has 108 inch wide, but JoAnns doesn't carry the wide in many colors.
@@justjudedesigns9560 I use mine on the other side where the bend is down so it doesn’t catch on fabric . At least that’s how I was taught by my elderly neighbor who has always quilted
@@pamelahill7164 I switch it to that side when I'm quilting the opposite side of my work. Quilting lines must always run in the same direction so the bar has to be flipped over to do the other side. This is why quilting bars must be used both with arm down for one side and elbow down for the other side. Hope that makes sense.
Thank you very much for your detailed instructions on how to make this patch work and your tips on achieving a beautiful finish piece.
