I was not asked for proof of vaccination in step 7. Thats something I have to show in port, I believe. 2 weeks until my cruise, and I checked again today to check if they had added anything.
Good to know. My cruise is out of the US in December. They are saying we will have to add to it to our step 7 in our last 21 days before sailing. So much keep changing
Do you know when you are checking in on the app if you can skip most info details and go straight to selecting an embarkation time to board? There are 11 of us all going on our cruise and not all of us can jump on line at the same time so we can synchronize our time to get on board. Hope this makes sense to you. You have been very helpful to us in trying to organize all .
Couple things to help you out. 1). People can fill in everything on check in except embarkation time any time they want. Thus have them do it early 2) even if you get different check in time, your group can all go together at the earliest time.
Even after the online check-in is completed, you still could not choose a Port check-in time. As of today April 12th/22 11:00AM EST the NCL www will be updated sometime in a few days??? for the exact check-in times available. Their current www does not allow you to check in for a specific time. This pertains to a cruise leaving Vancouver, BC to Alaska. This was found out after talking to 3 different NCL agents (& 1hr) who couldn't answer the question & finally found an NCL person who was extremely knowledgeable.
@@JATravelAdventures the app allowed that as you say I guess till they got too many questions about why it couldn't be completed. They shut both the site and the app. I saw that because the site was glitches and I went to the app and the meal pkg was working right there but the site would only show the 5 day specialty dinner pkg! Thanks for the reply! I want to know what shows they will have so my brother and I can plan around them if we want to see one. NCL seems to think last minute or onboard is ok! I don't want a mad dash to get reservations onboard!
@@LaszloBagi can you please explain "stops at 50%?"My cruise is in early January and my app says "cruise check-in can be completed at 21 days" so does that mean they 50% of passengers have already checked in?
@@Jojomakky2300 I was able to start check in right after we booked the cruise about a year ago. Personally info, plus passport info. That got me to 50% complete. I'm assuming at 21 days out we will be able to upload our photos, covid vaccine information etc... and that will bring us to 100%
Yes. Once you have completed all of the uploads on passport information and passport type photos. You can choose a time. Our group the last time had 3 rooms for 7 people. We got 3 different check in times. You can go with which time the whole group wants to go. You can keep people together. FYI in check in you have to watch ALL of the safety video. You have to do it for each person. Thus I watched the whole thing 7 times.
Getting out of Heathrow with luggage will take you about 2 hours. Then it’s and hour to the port. I would choose 12:30 or 1 pm. If you are late it’s ok. Good luck.
If you are in the haven, you can call the conceirge 800 number and book now. If you ar are a regular guest, you can’t book shows until on board. With that said even when they say show are sold out, they never are. Just go to the theater 15 minutes before show and they let everyone in
If you fill in all your documents on the app for check in, you do not have to print anything out. It is already in their system and makes the whole process so much faster. They will look at your Covid documents and your credit card.
In the check in on the app, you provide a credit card that will be used for all charges on board the ship. At embarkation, they will look at the card just to make sure it is actually your credit card.
You have to call the Norwegian toll free number is the only way. Unfortunately the hold times are usually over an hour. Just be prepared to wait. You do need to fix it before you go to the port, as they have the right to refuse boarding.
I will be cruising with 2 family member all on single reservation in my name. I have completed check-in for myself except for last 2 sections. When I try to complete check-in for my 2 family members, I'm running into problems. Their forms populate with my info: address, phone, email. Since we don't have same info, I've tried to remove mine and insert theirs, but I either can't change the info, or the app then changes that info on my tab! How can I mensure info entered for each of us stays pertinent to each personals? Also saw notice when I started filling in my section on health and safety that seemed to indicate we each need to have our own login to complete that section. Is this the case? Do we all just use same reservation number to keep us linked? And if we do need separate accts on the app will I still see tab for them when I am in the check-in portion of the app?
I feel your frustration with the check in. My parents had the same problem today. They have the same physical address, but they both wanted to have different email addresses and contact phone numbers. We solved it by doing exactly what you suggested. We allowed my mom to keep the original set up. Then made a new user name and password for my father using the shared reservation number. One thing to note, to get it to allow us to create him a new account, we had to say he did not have a latitude number from previous sailings
To answer the rest, you will still keep the same reservation number and get to see each other’s tabs at the top of check in. You will be allowed to have separate favorite lists which is turning into a bonus since they are wanting to do different excursions. Good luck. Let me know if I can be more help.
@@JATravelAdventures thanks for the quick response. One additional question. You mentioned that when setting up new accounts for them means not being able to enter their Latitudes #. Does this mean they won't receive perks they would be eligible for on this cruise?
@@patmulock3153 I have spoken with the NCL customer service when I was having issues. They say the perks should already be in the reservation's account if the latitudes number was given when booking the room. What this situation would affect is them getting credit for this cruise toward their latitudes level for future cruises. They said this could be fixed at the latitudes desk once you are on the cruise.
Where are luggage tags. Usually / other cruise company, after check in you can print luggage tags. No not with Norwegian. What is going on? Can't you make it all in one.
Not impressed could not check in all parties 6 rooms. Many are out of country or state and many seniors with no iPad or computer or phone savy. For a group it's not user friendly.
