Over the last 27 years, I have lived on five continents and visited more countries than I even want to count. I’ve also traveled during all 5 stages of life: dual income with no kids, family travel, empty-nesters, caregiver to senior parents, and now as a solo widowed traveler.
Because I’ve been a continuous traveler for almost three decades, and I’ve learned to look for the fine details that can add stressors to a trip, such as where the good bathrooms are, what the immigration and customs process is like, or does the hotel rooms have hairdryers.
Because I have actually been there, I know which countries are better to visit with drivers and guides and where you are okay traveling on your own.
Because I have compiled my extensive knowledge of countries for such a long time, I am the perfect person to help you plan your trips and make sure that you do not have the extra stress that comes from traveling to an unknown country.
I share all of my knowledge and experience with you.

My ETA application enabled me to take the picture and scan my passport from my smart phone and it took maybe 5 minutes to fill the application and 15 minutes I received an email.Remember you need ETA even for transmitting in the UK.
I'm so glad to hear that your application was fast and easy! Yes. ETA is now needed too
Glad to hear there are more protection for passengers!

Thanks for this nice video. I am sharing it with my 80 year old parents who are going there for the first time this March 20th. Question; how can I set up an airport shuttle pick up to take them to Quepos?
And naked
Great video! When you're leaving CR via SJO, what do you mean by "check in"? Is this separate than the flight check in?
I’m talking about flight check in. It’s a shorter period than most airports
My travel advice: Sew pockets inside the front of the waistband of your pants. Make them big enough to hold a credit card and maybe your cell if you are uber paranoid. You’ll look a little odd digging in your waist for your card but I guarantee you’ll notice someone else trying to get into your waistband, too Zipper locks like nite ize Get that $10 pickpocket proof backpack off Temu, I have used it extensively and it remains unsullied Any purse or backpack with built in mesh to make it slash proof, bonus if it has built in zipper locks and the strap can be detached and then attached around a solid object to keep it from being snatched, like the shopping cart at my local Walmart Sew super deep pockets in the inside of your coats/jackets Velcro your pocket openings shut or use zippers, anything to slow people down Situational awareness helps Don’t take anything you can’t stand to lose Never
These are amazing ideas !!!!! Thank you for sharing
Why you don t show the best part 😅
Good advice!
I am so glad you found it helpful!
Thank you for this!!!
You’re welcome! I hope it makes your trip smooth.
People haven't seen ancient Indian sculptures
You are correct. When I was in India last April there was an amazing statue. I don’t remember its name
@JATravelAdventures yes there are many sculptures in temples which are amazing
Good video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Scruffy - go to Cinnamon Velifushi instead, so much nicer !
I will have to try it next time. Thank you for the suggestion.
Excellent 😊
I am so glad you found it helpful.
This video should be required viewing by every old person (senior citizen) traveling. For an older person, like me, I want to travel for pleasure. I want to avoid frustrations, or delays that I do not understand, or worse the anxiety that comes with misunderstood changes. That is one of the main reasons to get the assistance of a qualified travel agent, like J & A Travel.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video
I wish everyone over the age of 50 could hear this!
I completely agree. Sometimes we get in our own way
Good tips, thanks!
I can’t wait to hear about your travel plans for 2025!
This is great advice, however, many companies don’t pay holiday pay if you miss the day before or after a holiday 😢. Also, a lot of people work in industries where they have to work most holidays. I worked in retail and healthcare - it sucked when it came to time off. Now that I’m retired, I can travel when it’s cheaper and less crowded. Thanks for the good video.
Unfortunately that is true with retail. Your points are valid. I am glad to hear you travel now. Where is your next trip. I leave for Morocco at the end of the month
@ I’m headed for a Hawaiian cruise next month.

All are your points are valid. I truly feel for the people in health care and relaid during the holidays. I love to hear that you are traveling now that you are retired. She is your next trip? I leave the end of the month to Morocco
I’m from Costa Rica and there are 3 lounges you can enjoy. There is a lounge for each passenger flying buissness or first on any airlines, the lounge #1 is a Visa Infinite lounge, which you can access with a Priority Pass membership program, this lounge is located on gate 15. The next lounge is Copa Club, you can access with a Mastercard Black and get access to a priority line on customs and immigration , you can access this lounge as well with your Priority Pass card. The 3rd one is called BAC, and you can access with an AMEX black or platinum + and additional cost, my favorite one personally is the Visa Infinite lounge, which you can also purchase a day pass. All of the lounges offer unlimited food and snacks as well as wine and beer. If you found this somewhat helpful be sure to like my comment 😀
This is so helpful!!
I can’t wait to hear about your travel plans!

It’s a great safety net to have, especially during uncertain times.

Is it ok to stay in the airport between 10pm and 6am? Will they ask me to leave? My flight lands at 10pm and my next flight is the next morning at 6. I know it wont be comfortable but i dont see any sense in getting a hotel for just a couple of hours .
If you are on a ticketed flight that just has a layover, then you can stay in the airport.
