Little planet is the only one that makes sense, since angel island requires the master emerald to stay afloat, it makes no sense for it to even exist in this universe (maybe the island where knuckles fought iblis could be it)
In my opinion, we should a mini series between sonic movies. Like how the knuckles tv show gaps between sonic 2 and sonic 3, so I would definitely see a shadow mini series coming soon before sonic 4 comes out. And the directors and writers did say that the sonic movies would be like the avengers movies, so having mini series in between the sonic movies makes sense in the sonic cinematic universe.
I’ve only played a handful of the games, but movie Sonic 3 was so good that’s my new years resolution is to get through 10 Sonic games this year. Just got through Mania and it was great
I would be all down for Silver (which would be awesome to be played by possibly Hayden Christian) and Shadow finding out that there was a being that could give him a chance to possibly change his past, which would be so tempting for him to reach that golden apple. but knowing his conversation with Sonic, he needs to let his past haunts be a guide and look forward to his future (which could be an good lesson for people n kids)
I've watched so many interviews to make these last two videos and got so caught up in watching him talk every time. Him knowing the characters and material so well is so awesome
@ he's just having an obscene amount of fun whether it's in the interviews or on the screen. Just knowing that him, Edris Elba, and Keanu Reaves have all grown to love these characters as much as the fans themselves really helps me appreciate these movies as a labor of love
Boy am I glad the first Sonic movie corrected it's course before it was too late and the franchise endured. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 might be one of my favorite movies of all time
I was watching a video talking about Sonic Movie 3 joining an Exclusive Box Office Club of the top 10 video game movie adaptations to reach over a million dollars and I had to see your follow-up video on the Sonic Movies TheMentok!
@TheMentok . First;Keanu still him("spare budget for cgi with sound alike")? Second;Maybe shadow was there for different reason, and when the meteor crashed, they mixed his dna with the other passangers ala shadow striker(transformers cyberverse;"was rebuilt with parts from squad").
Since the first one came out on my mom’s birthday(February 14th) we saw it together on that day,and ever since we make it a tradition to see each movie together when they release
Happy to see a follow up to the first video. Like I said before for being a very fair weather Sonic fan (despite literally being around since the first game) the movies really capture all the fun and parts I've enjoyed the most from the franchise. Especially happy the actors enjoy the roles and have a good time performing them.
Idk if y'all notice but the Metal Sonic that are easily destroyed by Amy are grey not blue and we didn't see the blue one getting destroyed. Which means the blue Metal Sonic might be the "Real" Metal Sonic, I'm guessing the grey ones are the clones or imperfect copy of the original Metal Sonic. They're his henchmen. There's a potential that this Metal Sonic is Neo Metal Sonic, if that's true then that will be awesome. As for the plot of Sonic 4 it might be based on Sonic CD since that game first introduced Amy and Metal Sonic. But who knows, maybe Sonic 4 will be based on Sonic Heroes
Sonic movies are really some examples of great movies, I rewatched Sonic 1 recently, and I think it's a movie that improves after watching Sonic 3, because you can get all the references, especially Walters asking about a certain hedgehog in the end of the movie I also think it'll be Sonic CD, but I expect the final boss of Sonic 4 to be Metal Madness
I did not realize a comic series had filled in the gaps about Knuckles and G.U.N. between films. That really makes me appreciate this franchise way more, honestly.
Sonic 3's Shadow was better than SA2's Shadow. I never cried, not as a child or as an adult, watching Shadow's sacrifice in SA2, but I got gut punched like 2 or 3 times by Sonic 3's finale
Great video. So cool to know how passionate the cast and crew have been making these movies. I’m honestly surprised Keanu Reeves got cast as Shadow, probably because of the massive fan campaign. He wasn’t bad as Shadow, but I would have chosen Aaron Paul. And Idris Elba’s Knuckles voice has really grown on me. Although personally I would not choose an A-list actor to voice Amy.
@ Yeah. I sorta started a campaign for it a few years ago and it got some decent traction. I even made a video about it. th-cam.com/video/gfJQBN2saY4/w-d-xo.html
15:40 Jeff Fowler and production: Lets just have them be preparing for a bowling tournament while Kid Cudi and a woman hunt for Knuckles, and lets meet Wades family as well. Then the final battle is a mechanic (I kinda forgot the plot of the show, that's just what I remember) Paramount: GENIUS
Man I am so glad to see this sequel video from you. Also spoilers for the final few seconds of the video. I do think I know how they could make Jim Carreys Robotnik fit into the 4th movie. Especially if it involves timetravel. When the Eclipse Cannon exploded, it was a giant reaction of Chaos energy. So I wonder if it didnt really explode as much per say, but rather initiated a giant chaos control! One big enough to warp space and possibly even time! Leaving Robotnik on another world, possibly in the past or future as well, where he'd have the means to create Metal Sonic. Especially given that as far as I can tell, he still has his Sonic Quill that he demanded in Sonic 3, meaning he could possibly even reverse engineer it as a replica. My own take is he might just have ended up on Little Planet. Would be a cool way to introduce that into the franchise. And use the planets resources for his metallic madness! Regardless if they do that or something completely different I'm all in! Jeff Fowler and Paramount studios have done wonders with this franchise. Also I agree Agent Stone is underrated and probably the best new thing brought to the franchise from the movies. Lee Majoub plays him wonderfully and I could even see Stone working in the games! His demeanour bounces off Robotniks so well and I can even see it being the same with the game's interpretation of Eggman. Stone is arguably the best sidekick that Eggman has had to date in the franchise.
It feels like as the movies went on, there was a stronger sense of ‘confidence.’ After people were enthusiastic about the redesign then supported the movie, the subsequent entries would embrace the video games and lore more.
I still remember i was at the maledives in summer of 2021 when Edris elbas voice cast announcement dropped and the keanu reeves announcement i watched right after i watched the mighty morphin power rangers movie in the middle of a school week when i had my final exams.😂 Ah yes, great memories!🎉❤️🔥😇🥂💙🤝🥹🍻😎😉😊😂🤣🥰💣💢💥💯📢🎵😍🍻
This consistency bodes well for a possible shift in focus to launch a Larger Sonic Universe, Where Sequels are set up ahead of time, with spin-offs also potentially featuring heavily in the ongoing story.💯💯🔥🔥 for more stories in the universe.
Sonic 4 is most likely going to take inspiration from Sonic CD. Seeing as how SA 2 was Shadow's first appearance and other than Shadow's vague "where mans come from" backstory, it was very heavily taking inspiration from SA 2. Considering the route that Fowler and the team have been going with introducing characters, I see Amy and Metal Sonic being the primary focus. However, since they did have a canon cameo in the setup comics from Chaotix, I wouldn't be surprised if we have at least a scene with the money grubbing detectives that help aid the plot in some way. I think Rouge, Big, and Cream are pretty close to being seen as well. Silver I see as pretty far off so far, especially since Silver isn't seen too much involved in mainline stories outside of Sonic 06's main story and also probably because it would involve time travel again and unless Fowler does involve Silver in Sonic 4, the team would have to revisit Silver's story later on. Edit: Addition In total, I see at least 2 more movies (4 and 5) before we see Silver in a big screen appearance. It might make sense to have a bigger cast of characters by the 6th movie for Silver's debut if we make it that far
I’d say I’d want a Shadow Mini Series to bridge the gap between movies…But after Knuckles, I don’t feel confident in Paramount+. If you’re gonna do a Spin-Off Show about a Sonic Character but can’t use that character much because of the budget, what’s the point (other than money). Also, what is it with Knuckles Spin-Offs & referencing the Holocaust??!!
OK for my predictions for what’s gonna happen in Sonic 4 is the main villain is going to be Neo Metal Sonic with his lesions of different types of metal sonics. I heard Amy Rose is gonna be sonic love interest so she probably go to Earth for Sonic so it’s gonna be either they met as kids, her fortune cards or a little bit of both. For Silver I feel like he’s gonna be in the in critics.
Hm… I was thinking that Amy would go on her own arc of realizing that love can come in many forms, and while Sonic doesn’t return these same romantic feelings he is still more than willing to be friends with her. And Amy would learn that there’s nothing wrong with flying solo, but there’s also no harm in calling upon your friends to help you out of trouble. Also, imagine if Neo Metal does show up and he’s voiced by Adam Driver or something. Amy I can see being played by either Kristen Bell or the VA of Luz from the Owl House
In a sequel, I hope we get to see all the other zones featured in the games, with the chaos emeralds scattering from the Master Emerald and Earth, after all the chaos that’s happened. Leading to Sonic and friends journeying across different worlds beyond Earth to collect the Emeralds to fight the big bad.
Spoilers for those who havent seen Sonic 3 Ngl me and my friends were geeked after that post credit scene and one of my friends was thinking that Amy could be on some future Trunks timing since she was able to handle the army of metal sonics well and seemed familiar with them
I was at the premiere with my friends that Friday, we were screaming, laughing, crying, it was an awesome experience, that post credits scene made me lose my voice
21:58 LOOK GARY! THERE I AM! For real, I remember my meme became super viral around that time. What a timeline for that high demand for the initial Sonic Movie 3 trailer.
The Sonic movie franchise is a Cinderella story. All the odds were stacked against it. Even fixing Sonic's character model wasn't a guarantee, though it was a show of good faith. It still could have been a mediocre Hollywood bastardization. But no it turned out to have heart and was earnest.
Yep while it's not perfect but it's certainly better than alot of modern Hollywood movies. This franchise felt like genuine care and love into it. I hope they will continue improving and fixing things from previous movies. Continually building up that foundation. Sonic 3 was already better than the second and first movie, imagine Sonic 4 will be better than Sonic 3.
Sonic Movie sets up the expansion of the universe, which seems to be an industry trend at the moment, with the Marvel Cinematic Universe paving the way for many more franchises to follow suit. This universe gonna be insane for Future Movies Of Sonic.💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥 So Hurry Up 2027 For Sonic 4.👀
I'd like a Shadow the Hedgehog movie based on the game with some inspirations from sonic x shadow generations but better written and it could introduce Rouge and Omega.
Personally I hated the Knuckles mini series.. I love Knuckles, my favorite of all. But that mini series was such a disappointment on his character and the charades they had him do, horrible writing
I watched Sonic 3 on its second week out after being convinced by the critic reviews. Never played a single game nor did I watch any other movies or shows. And I loved it. Decided to watch the other two movies and I loved them both almost as much. Even the Knuckles show wasn’t awful. Ofc it’s not going to be as great as the movies given the smaller budget. But it still had a lot of charm and fantastic moments while having some boring moments as well. It was never awful Imo
If this is a slight at me, the actual team working on this franchise has called this a cinematic universe. You don’t have to like the term, I’m here explaining what it is
@@TheMentok. Cinematic Universe are when different franchises interact. And hawen't seen Sonic cross paths with any other character from sega franchises!
Which one - Angel Island or Little Planet for Sonic 4?
Little Planet
I’d prefer Angel island but atp give us metal and little planet
Little planet is the only one that makes sense, since angel island requires the master emerald to stay afloat, it makes no sense for it to even exist in this universe (maybe the island where knuckles fought iblis could be it)
Little planet. But how are they gonna incorporate the metalix?
@ why would they do that? The metalix were only on X, and they hardly ever even reference the show (except for that one twitter takeover)
Im so happy that they kept Metal Sonic's look one to one to the games.
I actually hope it doesn't change too much. He looks perfect
@@TheMentok. The fact that this version was not alone, means they probably gonna pull from the fleetway comics!
24:52 Mad respect using the Warning Sign for the MMZ games

Honestly, when they've said shadow's game was among their inspirations for third movie. Thought black doom will appear(lucky this not happened)!
They definitely hinted at it with Shadow coming from that meteor. Another thing in the back pocket and a perfect plot line for a Shadow spinoff show.

Man I'd agree with you but I heard the Yakuza show wasn't the greatest. (I haven't seen it so I could be wrong)
It was ok, honestly better than the knuckles show was, but it could have been better
I was hoping the biker was Kiryu instead of "The goat milker"
@@TheMentok. This series, Not"Cinematic Universe". "Bad mentok, Bad"!
Impossible otherwise Kiryu, Akiyama, Majima, and Saejima would have destroyed Shadow while he was in Tokyo. After all Kamurocho is in Tokyo

Sonic 4 having a Terminator 2 like plot where Amy is sent back to the past to protect sonic from Metal Sonic would be so much fun
I'm still a bit miffed that Tails is the _only_ character to retain their voice actor from the games.
