- This week we install a Runva winch onto a rival behind bumper winch mount plate
I’m not going with a bullbar on this car so the rival winch mount plate is perfect for being able to have a winch
The Rival mount is no longer available so we’ve made our own and it’s in stock and ready to go

Yes! this is what I have been looking online for the past two hours for. Only problem I have is I need one that will fit on my 2017 Colorado. The only other one I found for a Colorado was by an NZ fabricator THJ - Bull Bars.
Love it! I am not getting a bullbar on my Lux cause I think the front grill is awesome. For this reason I had assumed no winch would be possible. Thanks again for more Lux inspo. Keep it coming

Yeah I rate the front on the new Gen 3 and didn’t want to destroy it with a bullbar. Also didn’t want to get the same bar as everyone else.

Are the brackets ADR compliant? Just wondering about the legalities of using these on the road.

Have you got a video or pictures of an install on an N70?
No sorry have only done N80
Any closer vids of the spacers used between the winch and the front bracket.

Probably would of helped us if you showed where it fouled and what you cut off, I’m looking at doing this install to and with recovery points. Can’t see anyone that would do a winch without points, so be a big help to know what to cut before hand.
Do you have a gen 3 or earlier model? The recovery points and winch plate aren’t made for the gen 3 but we made it work.
We will pull the bar back off again for another upgrade and will show you what we did.
Do you know of any similar set ups that work with a 2014 Prado with a stock alloy bar?

Yes this is to suit stock bar, my car has stock bar. But it’s not to suit Gen 3 bumper so have to make it fit to look nice
How does the winch go with the lithium battery
It runs it fine. I will do a video of it in operation

@@johnmullo9734 I might have to be the trail blazer for the Fortuner the . I have no doubt the bracket/mount will fit. Just need to know how the bumper will go.
