- Smith Alley’s fascination with porn began when he first discovered it at 9 years old, and by 12, it had become an addiction. He hid the shameful secret from his parents for years by any means. Around 14, Smith was eventually forced to share his secret addiction after he was accused of sexual misconduct by a girl whom he had been sexually involved with. Now at 17, he is now a fierce advocate for helping other teens who are battling addiction. Smith, Ben and Sally Alley detail their experiences in a sit-down with Tamron Hall.

Bless his heart! Alot of people suffer from this addiction but pass it off as a high sex drive. The devil always preying on the a loop hole or waiting on a crack to leak in someone's vulnerability.
Amen it has destroyed my walk with God and my personality. I hate it, but it feels good in the moment . You feel Terrible after. The people in charge of porn will get it bad

I would be willing to bet the vast majority of millenials and zoomers view enough porn to seriously damage their dopamine levels. We’re all fucking depressed for no apparent reason and i can almost guarantee it’s from porn
That wall he was talking about was, lack of Parents tapping him on what he was up to, Lack of Communication (very Surface vague type of talking to each other). Not having it be a normal thing for him, it'd became his Normal...So when they did find out 💁♀️ Low and Behold, he's not gonna be able to converse about it to them. Since it's just been built up all the days he's hid it from shame on a loop. Parent will think they'll get an answer to their normal question, But to him the communication is lacking and its been so built up in his mind. 😏🙌🏼 This goes along with anything too, that you allow your kids to get addicted to at that degree.

Take your son to the gym, take him to social events like concerts, but tell him, he'll only go if he doesn't watch porn.

Porn addiction and sex addiction are connected
Based on where he lives and what he said, he's probably Mormon. This means he can't be pursuing those women except as a potential spouse and everything's going to be very PG until after they marry. For him to "sin" with a woman will, therefore, require far more determination and willingness to violate his religion than for him to passively watch porn.
Also, Mormonism also prohibits masturbation, which might account for why he's watching so much. Instead of releasing that tension in a couple of minutes, he spends hours and hours teasing himself until, maybe, he releases once he's worn down his will sufficiently.

@Ryan Byrd if u really wanna quit on those days when u feel like “fuck it we goonin” you gotta take a step back and really think if it’s worth it or not. Look into the science of how it damages your brain and commit to really quitting. It was so worth it to quit for me and I hope everyone struggling with this can feel that too.
We have to program ourselves to do better, and to take control over our body and mind. We are better than this. We need to exercise in body and spiritually with God. ❤
