The censoring is also in the japan release, only the original dokapon kingdom and a trailer for the japanese version is uncensored.
That's regarding Chance Boutique's design. There's a possibility Japanese versions of Dokapon Kingdom refer to Heck as Hell. I only played the North American version of DKC, and the word "heck" still gets used.
The OG game on the DS was one of my FAVORITE multi-player experiences in gaming I've ever had.
The OG was on the Wii. The DS came later. This is a remaster of the Wii.

@@hoimanchen752 They censored the women to be less revealing, like the beginning warrior class on females have leggings like Pyra in Smash and a shop keeper doesn't have her bare breasts and stomach out. 4:45 Its not that much of a huge loss, its cartoony and you level them up making them wear more clothes like FF1.

Story. It'll introduce things as you go along, where normal mode kinda just tosses you in the thick of things

I loved playing Dokapon Kingdom, not sure I'd be able to convince my friends to take the time necessary to beat story mode these days
Make a day out of the month to do it and take your time. Have it be a monthly tradition

Is it me or it seems a little rigged I had a play through where I kept dying on the same square over and over and over again and the CPU opponent had the same role of dice and actions
That may happen, its why the shuffle option on iPod back in the day wasn't trully random
How long does the story mode usually take with like a party of 3?
i don't remember how long but i remember it being quite a commitment id suggest using the X amount of turns option
Depending on player knowledge of the game, how fast you complete story objectives and/or players spend more time screwing over each other, 20-30 hours seems relatively realistic.
@@rioc2802 Even playing the game singleplayer story mode is absurdly long. I played by myself with 2 ai and even after 4 hours I JUST got to when Rico Jr. shows up. That's chapter 2 of 7. Granted, a 20-30hr story isn't long by rpg standards in general, but for the type of game this is, it drags on like an eternity. Literally several hundred rounds of gameplay are required to finish it, and that experience gets even more time consuming the more real world players you add.

Grinding: The Board Game. Seriously, the amount of repetitive turns in this game is absurd. That is by far its weakest selling point.
