Here’s an idea for a shaving challenge. It is a little different from the “budget shave” challenge. We can call it the “Lockdown challenge.” This is for us to show those guys that always say they “don’t have time to wet shave” that they can jump in for little money and still have an enjoyable experience. Now that so many are at home all day they might enjoy having something to do. Only use products like you would be able to get from your local food market during this lockdown. As for razors, choose in this order: one like they actually sell at the local market, a vintage razor, the one you have had the longest, or the only one you have. If there is not a cheap brush in your collection that fits the description, choose the most economical one that you have. It might be the only one you have. My shave was actually VERY NICE! For me that meant: Razor-Gillette Slim adjustable TTO (It’s vintage, my oldest razor and the first one I ever owned.) Blade-Supermarket brand (I think they are Personna) Brush-Burma Shave boar brush (Less than $5 at the local food market-first use.) Lather-Williams Mug soap puck. (Less than $2... WOW!) After Shave-Afta by Mennen (I love the nostalgia of the scent.)
Hi Paul- Great shave a l’orange; thank you! Glad to see you are doing well. Both you and Mrs H please take good care. Be safe and be well! See you on Sunday for the weekend shave. Best regards, as always!
My SOTD will be with a new razor I have just got on Monday. It's the Karve Christopher Bradley razor in stainless steel. I tried the B plate on my first shave, but tomorrow I will be trying the C plate. Very, very impressed with it, buttery smooth shaver and feels exceptional in the hand. I will be pairing it with an Astra SP Green blade, Wickham soap Magnum, Wickham Magnum post shave balm. Yaqi Mysterious Space tuxedo brush. Really looking forward to the shave. Hope you are all keeping well, and stay safe.

Another gr8 shave Paul 💈👍 Tree looking good Mrs H 🍊 Me, you and some steel 🤣 sounded like you were starting a shave porn channel 🤣🤣 Glad you're both safe and well as are me and Gavin. My kids all key workers. Paramedic, deputy manager at Tesco, and the other in a care home for dementia. So proud of them all. Have a gr8 rest of the week both 👍🍊💈
