We were at this show! Outstanding, I don't think people realized it was Eddie Vedder for the first 60 seconds he came on stage but when they did it was truly electric!
I love how Eddie has been accepted into the elder Rockstars circles. He's popped up with Tom Petty, Springsteen, Sting, Roger Waters and now Peter Gabriel. Very cool! He's obviously a true scholar of music and not just a (fucking great) singer from a grunge band

Incredible! A week ago I was seeing Pearl Jam at Pemberton Festival and tonight I'm seeing Peter Gabriel & Sting back home in Alberta. I saw Sting join PJ onstage in NYC this past May. Haha, full circle.
I always see Eddie Vedder getting on stage and singing with Bruce, but now Gabriel too? At least he has great taste in music. I'm trying to picture Gabriel singing a Pearl Jam song and I just can't.
