    My new favorite expression:
"It's easy to use the glue when you don't have to kill the horse yourself."

I mean yeah.... Luthiers use hide glue and still do use hide glue today that's made from horses. And yeah they well I don't think they kill them for that purpose but pretty sure it's hard for them to even kill the horses for the glue.

Ray is actually right about this one. It's very weird to call your in-laws mom and dad. They aren't.

      I agree 🤝....
However in INDIA 🇮🇳; our culture teaches us to call, treat, behave & look after our in-laws as our own parents.
In fact:- - The father-in-law is the next best person to guide, help me, finance me, after my dad....
Mother-in-law is called as "Sasoo Maa". &
Father-in-law is addressed as "Sasur jee"...
      It's very ॐ Religious & ॐ pious.
      (Namaste 🙏🏽)

Remember that Marie said that her own mother-in-law was essentially insufferable. Debra may be developing the same coping skills to deal with Marie as Marie developed to deal with Grandma Barone.

Exactly. She tries to make raymond do things she wants and finds his boring just because they are sport related. Debra was warned about his mom but didn't listen then it became a battle of who can dominate him. Debra doesn't seem to take interest in her kids much.

  • @anthonyvasquezactor

    Ray, just say "Goodnight, Lois".
I would never call my mother-in-law "Mom".
But then again, I wouldn't have a mother-in-law to begin with, because that would mean I'd be married, which this show and many others convinced me is a horrible idea.

I still want to be married to a good man, and the show’s producer (Phil Rosenthal) heavily infused the show with Jewishness based on his own family dynamic (and mine. I see especially a lot of my dad’s family in this, and we’re Ashkenazi and Sephardi instead of Italki).

Ramone anally restrained mummy’s boy who in real life would have been left and divorced by his wife in real life. Gilbert is so untalented and tediously boring, the rest of the cast make the programme, are the programme they are the ones with talent and bring the humour.

I wish in the show, deb divorced ray, took the kids and his money and house. Ray ended up homeless back at mommies until he blew his brains out cause he found out what a loser he really was.
