Well done Allen - progressing well. Good work on the platform and on the tunnel roof. The addition of scencis always brings a smile to my face as it enhances the build so much.

Thank you Steve, looking forward to getting back on the build after Christmas. Hope you had a good one and you received a few additions. Yes the greenery definitely adds to the scene.

Yes it's good to have something closer to n gauge that we can use. Looking forward to trying it on the hillside soon.

Hi Allan! Great job with the tunnel roof! l wondered if it would be prone to snapping with only a cardboard backing, but it looks quite sturdy! That was some good measuring with the space for the Scalescenes bridge as it was close to a perfect fit when you slotted it in! Looks like the platform is coming along nicely! Some good purchases at the train shows too! Those little rulers come in quite handy, and I've used mine many more times than I thought I would! All the best, Ian.

Hello Ian, I have to say I wasn't sure how the tunnel roof would turn out, but I am happy with the result I have got. Scale scenes kits are definitely one of my favourites especially for n gauge I think they look really impressive if you take your time when assembling them.

Good to see some green appearing on the layout Allen. It does make such a difference and that whole section is coming along very well. Platforms looking good as well. Stephen

It’s coming along very nicely. Good forward planning to make the tunnel roof removable and you’re making a lovely job of those platforms. The 0.5mm static grass was a surprise - surely there can’t be much difference between it standing up and laying down? Best wishes -Ed

Good haul. I am now wondering if N gauge would of been a better choice for me seeing as I don't have much space. But committed now I guess. Looking forward to how you go about the scenery now the track is down.

Hopefully it will all look like the land was there before the railway. And it will all blend in.
      Thank you
