Imo, this revamped passive is definitely a whole lot better, being able to do enhanced basic atks each time he casts a skill is like a mini calamity reaper xD plus it’s obviously better now its cap is 20% lost hp. The timer isnt much of a big deal since gusion would always back out of a fight after doing a combo, and would cast his skills first rather than using the enhanced basic atk first when doing another combo. Honestly not much changed in his gameplay besides a buffed passive. _Also I am once again asking you to try out Jungle Martis_ 🙏
Fellow Martis main? He's good personally, early game is really powerful and allows me to rack in kills rather easily, but don't rely on him to end the game

To get his highest dmg, u need the 4 passive or 3 passive combo. The 3 passive combo is 1-2-1-Basic Attack-2-3-2-Basic Attack-1-2-1-Basic Attack, the 4 passive is just to use the stored passive from skills already done beforehand. I tested that this dealt damage better to tanky heroes, especially the 4 passive combo. But the revamp's best combo is 1-2-2-1-Basic Attack-3-2-1-2-Basic Attack, it should be enough, if the flicker or dash out after, aim first skill to get to them, especially with execute P.S. There are variations on the different timings for the first and second skill. IF both are already casted, use first then second (with perfect timing) for far away targets, and second then first for extremely close targets. Thank you

I may not be a Gusion main but there's one thing I noticed in the revamped Gusion and it's that his first skill blink dash is faster now, reducing the downtime for you to retract your 2nd skill daggers for smoother kill potential.
Gusion's revamp is in his appearance and skill effects nothing else, I don't think they will modify his damage, like Lesley, I don't think they will touch his attributes either, they will modify his effects nothing else as far as I understand, good Video Elgin! you get a lot of support from a lot of people, I hope one day my channel will be 1/4 as big as yours, you make great videos! keep it up! we love you.
This is definitely a good revamp of his passive, one of gusion's donwside is his slow farming in early stages of the game but with this he can compete with the top junglers in terms of farming speed.
As Gusion's main I definitely loves his revamp. 1) more additional damage 2) no need combo just to get a stack 3) smoother and faster animation And I think 1-2-1-2 combo twice will be used more since it gives double passive max stack, what do you guys think🤔

First comment which talks the truth. If someone rly do basic attack in combos, ur dead. In glory enemys hero pick always have cc and they know when to ult. If you cant kill them with 2-3-2-1-2 ur dead anyways. Also the sqeezy heros use flameshot and flicker which can counter gusion too if timed perfectly. Why force to use basic attack after every skill? Just stack it up four times and deal 5%additional damage.... U can use this combo 2-1-1-2-basic-ulti-2-1-1-2-basic-ulti Or 2-1-2-1-basic-ulti-2-1-2-1-basic -ulti Use any from both coz it depends on the distance between the 5 blades and ur position for max damage

Thinking about it, I guess that's the reason why gusion has so many skins.
Gusion is easy to make skins on since he's just a normal looking character without crazy body parts like minotaur or grock and his skills have minimal assets and naturally flashy so all flashy skins (which is the skin types moonton makes the most) will most likely gonna fit him.
the best thing about the revamp is the jungle speed imo. Clears jungle a lot faster now especially at level 1. At level 2, and above, u can spam ur skills without being conscious of trying to get 3 stacks for additional damage. For example, I would use skill 2 twice, then skill 1 only once to save the second part of skill 1 for the next 3 stack passive before.

Anyways I think revamped Gusion is way better since sometimes you hit all your skills and the target won't die and is left with very low HP, now we won't have that problem anymore thanks to the revamped passive, I'm excited to try it!

I think the reason heros like gusion , Lancelot , chou and kagura stay evergreen in the meta is because of their unique play style , outplay potential and their ability solo carry a team ! Gusion can kill multiple enemies if lined Infront of him with no damage decay , Lancelot can dash right through the enemy tank to kill the squishy heros and dash out unfazed and chou.....well chou is the freestyle god XD . When you compare this to heros who have "tap tap kill " mechanic they're not so fun after 20-30 games. Therefore I think fun mechanics have a bigger part to play in the popularity of a hero rather then if they're overpowered or balanced.

there is a new lancelot skin in the dragon tamer gallery, but thats the only place you will see that skin in game, even lance does not have that skin listed.
Gusion couldve used the ability to stack s1 so he can mark 2 different enemies for more advanced tactics and to actually be able to use his stacks more often but maybe that would've over buffed him again
Honestly I don't see a need to buff or enhance Gusion. He may not be a hero choice for PRO players in Tournament level but he's been an absolute shredder since his debut in 2018. There may be a flashier and more threatening assassins of your choice but his burst potential is just insane and I can't even count the numbers of matches I've lost to a Gusion opponent. It's really unfair for marksman and mages cause buying magic defense items won't save you once he's hit his dagger. I've mentioned this to a lot of ML update videos that we need a magic damage immunity item in the game which would work like Wind of Nature, only that it can immune to magic damage instead of physical. Nobody seems to care of even thought of it. ELGIN if you're seeing this please make a shoutout for this. I'm sure the Devs will listen if an influencer like you give the voice. ✌🏻
Cant wait to use the new Gusion. All of his skills and his whole character model in general looks much more polished. One thing i REALLY DISLIKE about his controls tho is how now when you aim for an enemy and try to execute ur combo, instead of aiming the enemy my first skill either hits nearby minions or jungle creeps or a tanky hero which completely cancels it out. Seems like this happened recently after a change in the control settings. Im a seasoned GS user with 1k+ matches and even i find it very hard.
Why not drag it? Aim urself is always better. What i find annoying is that the second skill (after ult) not hit any target, not enemys not minions if you auto it. So you have to drag the skill too, which makes the combo alot slower. I dont have 1000 games with gusion, but im glory..
Is faramis first skill stronger after adjustment? Can you make a video about it Elgin? Faramis is my main and I'm worrying what moonton did to my Faramis rn.
Yep the ultimate for me is a nerf why exactly? First old faramis's ultimate recovers the original hp of the hero, yes the hero needs to die first but they can die as much as they want as long as they are in the radius plus the new faramis only gives a small hp that can easily be squished i think the old faramis is good when you wanna kill a dmg hero because no matter how much dmg you get you'll still respawn aslong as your in the ult while the new faramis only protects you from death.
New passive is good even though it has a CD coz most of the gusion users uses passive immediately... Ahh can't wait to use this new gus in official ser.
While the 2-3-2-1-1-2-3 combo seems very effective, it will be wasted if you are locked up at the wrong moment. I use the optional 2-3-2-1-3-1-2 combo when I am binded by Diggie’s Reverse Time. So that I can stay on pursuit.
Really looking forward to this new buff in original server, and i think with his new buff that can constantly heal with each stack of his passif so concentrated energy is not really necessary
Elgin, since players usually use tough boots against Gus and Karina as such, early game i suggest you take genius wand as it will lower it with the small penetrate it has with arcane boots, making it useless, then buy clock of destiny after buying burning soul
For me tho, I built normal boots, buy elecant gem, rush genius wand, rush boots, rush cod, rush holy crys, rush frozen or anti heal(I forgo) and then buy something I feel like I need to survive a 2v1 and up like blood wings or divine glaive when enemy has 2 of them using athena
I don't think they should necessarily buff Gusion just bc of the redesign, adding 5% percent in his passive damage can kite easily squishy ones. I know bc I play Gusion. Maybe up to 15%-16% is enough, plus you can now activate more ready his passive unlike before which I have to combo 1 set per passive til I get 3 sets to maximize damage.
I was like that some years ago. I was so bad at using Gusion, but I still like him. He became my favorite hero even though I don't use him that much (because I'm doing really bad, but I still play him for like 3 games everyday forcefully as practice, I easily get tired of competitive games). In one fateful game tho, I was noticing a rush of excitement and comfort while playing him (for real, I feel like i can really do it), it was a weird transition, but I suddenly got my combos right and dominated game after game, it still remains to this day, and I'm sure you'll reach that point if you keep trying. Martis need enhance basic attack too like if he use his skills his passive not only increase his attack speed but similar like Gusion new passive or like Lancelot passive each stack boost his dmg by 9% and upto 36%
agree, martis is a skill caster sustain hero type like alpha, ruby and yu zhong, but martis passive doesn't really fit him well except if you're using him as jungle

Gusion is fine IMO. They don't need to adjust his attributes and stuff. Good Gus players know how to make him annoying to deal with

For some reason he has better defence then a fighter his an assassin but very tough to kill without the malefic roar

Gusion couldve used the ability to stack s1 so he can mark 2 different enemies for more advanced tactics and to actually be able to use his stacks more often but maybe that would've over buffed him again

Honestly I don't see a need to buff or enhance Gusion. He may not be a hero choice for PRO players in Tournament level but he's been an absolute shredder since his debut in 2018. There may be a flashier and more threatening assassins of your choice but his burst potential is just insane and I can't even count the numbers of matches I've lost to a Gusion opponent. It's really unfair for marksman and mages cause buying magic defense items won't save you once he's hit his dagger. I've mentioned this to a lot of ML update videos that we need a magic damage immunity item in the game which would work like Wind of Nature, only that it can immune to magic damage instead of physical. Nobody seems to care of even thought of it. ELGIN if you're seeing this please make a shoutout for this. I'm sure the Devs will listen if an influencer like you give the voice. ✌🏻

Cant wait to use the new Gusion. All of his skills and his whole character model in general looks much more polished. One thing i REALLY DISLIKE about his controls tho is how now when you aim for an enemy and try to execute ur combo, instead of aiming the enemy my first skill either hits nearby minions or jungle creeps or a tanky hero which completely cancels it out. Seems like this happened recently after a change in the control settings. Im a seasoned GS user with 1k+ matches and even i find it very hard.
Why not drag it? Aim urself is always better. What i find annoying is that the second skill (after ult) not hit any target, not enemys not minions if you auto it. So you have to drag the skill too, which makes the combo alot slower. I dont have 1000 games with gusion, but im glory..
Yeah, his ult seemingly auto targets creep and minions for no reason. It's very annoying especially when you have to do a combo suddenly...
Is faramis first skill stronger after adjustment? Can you make a video about it Elgin? Faramis is my main and I'm worrying what moonton did to my Faramis rn.
Yep the ultimate for me is a nerf why exactly? First old faramis's ultimate recovers the original hp of the hero, yes the hero needs to die first but they can die as much as they want as long as they are in the radius plus the new faramis only gives a small hp that can easily be squished i think the old faramis is good when you wanna kill a dmg hero because no matter how much dmg you get you'll still respawn aslong as your in the ult while the new faramis only protects you from death.
New passive is good even though it has a CD coz most of the gusion users uses passive immediately... Ahh can't wait to use this new gus in official ser.

While the 2-3-2-1-1-2-3 combo seems very effective, it will be wasted if you are locked up at the wrong moment.
I use the optional 2-3-2-1-3-1-2 combo when I am binded by Diggie’s Reverse Time. So that I can stay on pursuit.

Elgin, since players usually use tough boots against Gus and Karina as such, early game i suggest you take genius wand as it will lower it with the small penetrate it has with arcane boots, making it useless, then buy clock of destiny after buying burning soul
I personally just make arcane boots so I can create Clock of Destiny as second item and get the max passive of CoD much earlier.

For me tho, I built normal boots, buy elecant gem, rush genius wand, rush boots, rush cod, rush holy crys, rush frozen or anti heal(I forgo) and then buy something I feel like I need to survive a 2v1 and up like blood wings or divine glaive when enemy has 2 of them using athena

I like this revamped but the way he walks kinda heavy but if I use his skins maybe the other effects will be smooth
I don't think they should necessarily buff Gusion just bc of the redesign, adding 5% percent in his passive damage can kite easily squishy ones. I know bc I play Gusion. Maybe up to 15%-16% is enough, plus you can now activate more ready his passive unlike before which I have to combo 1 set per passive til I get 3 sets to maximize damage.
Gusion is my favorite hero that I'm not good at 😅
I was like that some years ago. I was so bad at using Gusion, but I still like him. He became my favorite hero even though I don't use him that much (because I'm doing really bad, but I still play him for like 3 games everyday forcefully as practice, I easily get tired of competitive games). In one fateful game tho, I was noticing a rush of excitement and comfort while playing him (for real, I feel like i can really do it), it was a weird transition, but I suddenly got my combos right and dominated game after game, it still remains to this day, and I'm sure you'll reach that point if you keep trying. Martis need enhance basic attack too like if he use his skills his passive not only increase his attack speed but similar like Gusion new passive or like Lancelot passive each stack boost his dmg by 9% and upto 36%
agree, martis is a skill caster sustain hero type like alpha, ruby and yu zhong, but martis passive doesn't really fit him well except if you're using him as jungle
The enhanced basic attack should just be lifesteal tbh...
