What a style, what a class! LANCIA is unique, it's a shame FCA will stop soon the brand, forever. I own a Fulvia Coupé 1.6 HF Lusso (2nd series) and I will never separate from it ... thank you for this marvelous video!

I was thinking about a new version of this beauty, the only problem is that is just perfect! I can't make her better, I don't want to change her, she's perfect just the way she is!!!!
Why is the steering wheel on the false position? To give the driver a better streetholding performance? Normally it is not difficult to follow the street without a steering-wheel-fixed-line ;-)

I understand that FCA kills Lancia, it's a shame. It was the Italian style. This car an absolute timeless beauty, awesome. It could be a 2020 design. Probably one of the nicest car in the world.

+Autophile89 No, it certainly is not a very fast car. It has it's power but performance is not what prevails in my memories of driving this car. Handling was nice. One of only three cars that made me emotional. Why? I don't know, just... the feel...
It depends upon what you mean by a very fast car. Even by the standards when the Flaminia was produced, it did not have all that high a top speed. On the other hand, the handling was superb and thus the car was able to maintain high averages over a long distance. So an American car would probably both accelerate faster than a Flaminia and have a higher top speed. But the Flaminia would have been faster driving from eg Zurich to Lugarno. I've had a Pininfarina bodied Flaminia for many years now, and can still cover many more kilometres a day in Australia (where I live) than most can in much more modern cars. At the same time, the ride is excellent, not at all harsh. Alas, it all finished after Fiat took over.
@@SuperCarClassicsTV As a classic Moto Guzzi owner and rider I get it. I understand that a certain "something" in certain vehicles ignites passion within. I have owned a modest number of these types of cars and motorcycles. I understand that I am intrigued by a vehicle of a certain pedigree. I have come to terms that I need not be able to pinpoint and identify exactly what ignites this passion for vehicles which possess soul. I love asking Moto Guzzi riders what made them choose the obscure brand. I feel a kinship with the owner as he mentions that his admiration is hard to quantify. Admitting its not the fastest bike of it's genre. Not always if ever the easiest to find parts and service for. I get it. It's what you feel. Not what you can logically explain. My Moto Guzzi handles good for it's size and weight. I have read about the Tonti frame used for my bike. The weight is a factor. At a glance my bike could be mistaken for a 70's era ElectraGlide but at 560 lbs. it is lighter by a couple of hundred pounds probably. It's basic. With no radiator I love it's simplicity and ease of maintainance and repair. I love the engineering. With the trans. plugging into the rear of the engine much like a car. Even the driveshaft I welcome. Moto Guzzi's can be dead reliable with astounding longevity. Much to admire when you know enough of yourself to recognise that you get wrapped up in the mystique. You study the history and fixate on the LeMans pictured and written about in books. All these things appeal to me. Then, in addition to all these things I find the bike just so much fun to ride. It is fast enough. With the unique engine note resonating thru Harley mufflers. The torque and throttle response are comforting and satisfying. There is something to be said for the ability to utilise most of the power at hand. Doesn't have to be as fast as my Kawi 1000 Ninja. Yeah, it's fun to ride. Fun that never really gets old. That's the engine, running gear and handling. Fun and confidence inspiring. I marvel over features unique to the brand or few brands anyway. Things like the linked braking system. Which applies the rear disc and one of two in front by pressing the rear footbrake pedal. Being a police model with dual range box and torque converter it's fun. Fun to use a system that works so well. Riding it in town like you drive an auto. trans. car. Oh yes, on this model being as it's automatic there are two ranges but no park or neutral. So, when the kickstand is utilized it applies the rear brake. Yeah, it's fun. So it's just a certain "something" I can't quite nail down that makes me never want to be without one. That V Twin Hemi is quite an engine. Enough so that it saved the company 50 years ago from going under. I love that I ride something truly "different." I like some of that in the cars I own and drive too. I've owned an Alfa Romeo. A mid 60's classic Roadster. A well engineered and built sports car. Fond memories of the little red dynamo of fun. Really impressive details to that and just two more I will mention here. My 1970 Peugeot 504 and three Mercedes Benz I have owned. Good times and I'm so grateful that I was so affected and relish the fact that I feel what I do riding or driving such vehicles. All cars are not just appliances to transport me. Some bring joy to my life. I'm so fortunate to derive such rewards from operating such things.
