What I found seeing the list so far is that the companies took many integrated MTech (those doing BTech & Mtech in 5 years) students along with many Mtech (through Gate) as compared to BTech. However I do not know about PPO.

Yes mam, Geology it is very easy to crack GATE. My batchmate in Jadavpur university 20 years back,most of them did MSC/m tech from IIT. But generally gelology student appears in IIT JAM for MSC in IIT after bsc and after msc they appear gate and do M TECH.
