As I have stated my son got placed in core engg in MTech on Day 2, he got into LAM Research, the one you mentionec. But Exxon Mobil also took MTech ME. One of my son's friend got placed too. From the list, considering integrated MTech (20ME batch) & (23ME Gate batch) atleast 12 students got placed in Day 2 otself, including core & non core.

these stats are similar to that of IISc, why you were criticizing that for MTech placements. its obvious that iits overall placement would be far better than iisc, due to excess of btech students which companies would be preferring anyday over mtechs.
1. At IISc, big names like Microsoft, Nvidia, Taiwan Semiconductor, Google, and Apple haven't visited the campus. Though you wont find anyone getting Google or Apple in this video, but they took interview of few Mtech students at IITkgp. 2.This IITkgp were able to acheive in just 5 days, where as IISc placement is ongoing for couple of Months(Starting October).

@@issacnewton7724 No bro. Soon I will share IITM data, you will see the difference. IITM completed the placement in 4 days, total 72 students got placed. Its not about the % of students got placed at the end of the day, also you need to look how long it takes. at IISc people are waiting for long.
I agree with you point that iisc placement procedure is inefficient and for mtech placement is primary goal. They employ slots system. Few days of test followed by interviews then same for further slots. While iits take all the tests in one go then they go for interviews(thats why they have done in short durations). Also iisc starts its placement earlier than any institute (many companies are reluctant to give final offer before looking options all over the country). But your video has triggered discussion on linkedin that iisc is not at par with iits. Thats not the case,you can see for yourself iisc has increased seats for specialised roles like AI,CDS, Whose demand is not so much in market right now(just matter of time). And moreover in job market IITs are bigger brand,most of people don’t know about iisc. But it doesn’t means IISc is inferior to IIT in terms of academic quality.

At max 2-3 in 1 company. So if there are 10 companies, then around 30. But all of them are from Btech CSE or Electrical or Math and Computing branch.
