Listening to the sound of the wind outside as you hand stitch inside nice and comfy cozy sounds amazing. I love the small paper piecing! TFS
The only EPP I’ve done I started over 20 years ago. It was tiny hexagons for dolls house quilt. I couldn’t imagine working on something as tiny as your HSTs. They are looking good.
The Colourblind Quilter apologized for showing 3.5 -inch HSTs in his video today, and I giggled! You, however, leave me in awe! I will certainly do small than the first, but never as tiny as yours!!! Well done!
At least it would grow fast with 3.5 inch 🤣 happy stitching
Thanks for sharing, like the design; never thought one could do such tiny pieces! like the use of paler fabric with the liberty. 👍
That's amazing piecing Rachel!
Thank you 💖 😊
I love your tiny triangles! I’m hand stitching some nice little valentines from felt, buttons, and ribbon scraps! Nice to stitch along with you! 🪡🧵
Lovely to have you with me ❤️
My eyes are crossed! But so lovely
These are so cute.😊
So lovely. The video looks fine.
Thank you ❤️
So beautiful, Rachel. Truly amazing with such tiny pieces!! ❤😊
Thank you so much!
@@stitchwithrachel so so tiny.
If you’re using iPhone I know you can copy your video then crop it like you would a photo as I’ve compiled videos where I’ve added clips of both orientations. But to be honest it really doesn’t matter that much to me which orientation a film is in
I've seen some very cute mini zipper bags with a decorative strip of EPP across the front of the bag. Or a needle book with a strip of EPP running down the cover. There's lots of practical uses for these mini strips of EPP. 💖🌞🌵😷
That is a good idea! Would make a lovely accent piece
@@stitchwithrachel , yes! Accent strip... that's what I was trying to say. I love those little bags that are all EPP, but the ones with the accent strip really celebrate the EPP! So, make your minis and put them in anywhere. An EPP strip down the seam of your jeans even! 💖🌞🌵😷
I couldn't imagine working with such tiny pieces Rachel. I love how pretty it is looking once sewn together. I have been working on my temperature quilt and also a block of the month I am also doing. Stay safe and cosy xx
Brilliant Rachel, thankyou. I'm half way through dolls house construction so your mini quilt would complement the beds perfectly. I too love Alice Caroline fabrics. Look forward to your next video🧵🪡
Thank you for sharing and the tip on turning the triangles opposite I will try to remember that thanks again for sharing 🎉
I love watching you using very small pieces. If I was younger, I would be doing this. I could carry it around with me. I had brain surgery a year and half ago and a stroke six months ago due to surgery. I’m good now but hands are numb now and have trouble walking(in a wheelchair now). I just wanted you to know I appreciate your videos.
Rachel, ohhhhhh my that is magnificent
👏👏👏 I want to try EPP but now I want to try miniature. You do such beautiful work.
Maybe you could do a video about how and when you started, who inspired, taught and encouraged you! Maybe you already have that🙃!!!
Thank You, 🥰❤️😀
EPP is sooo fun! That is a good video idea, I definitely will ❤️
Amazing work👍👏👏
Thank you Ann ❤️
I love mini EPP, it’s what I first sewed when I went back to EPP as an adult. I’ve discovered I prefer 3/8” to 1/4” as they are easier to baste. I haven’t tried mini triangles but I have done mini diamonds.
Omg those are the cutest 🌻
I love it ! Perfect for a dollshouse..
Sabine
I don't know what you mean about wrong format. Looked really good to me. Such tiny beautiful pieces!
Oh, that's good to know. It's just filmed with the camera longways rather than width wise, but it's nice to know it doesn't bother people because it means I can upload more ❤️
You have such a soothing voice, it's so relaxing to listen to,, and your work is simply amazing!
and boy, I can talk and talk! Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave a lovely comment.
You do such great things. I'm listening to a storm in northern California as you work during on in your area. I would love to have you show this again with a little more information.
I certainly will show this again once I have made some more progress x
thank you 🦋
Amazing work! Do you leave the tiny card board pieces in?
Usually you would remove the papers but if I make this intona wall hanging, maybe frame it then I'll just leave the papers x
Very pretty ❤.
Amo as estampas de seu tecidos! ❤
Recovering from a knee replacement, so I am working on my granddaughter ypyp quilt.
Aww I wish you a speedy recovery ❤️
When hand sewing or machine sewing when cutting out pieces don't worry about small seams after sewing on seam lines then cut seams down. This will make more fabric to work with then trim. I did a Charm quilt 3500 pieces 1" x 1 1/2" size.
I am making a small quilt using half inch hexagons. I have tried one inch half square triangles.
I love half inch hexies, my fav size and shape 🥰
They are too small for me ive tried tiny hexigans i used hexiform but still too tiny for me hexiform goid thou gives nice feel and you can leave it in
Yes me too! I'd love to be able to but it's just too fiddly for my old hands! 👍
what seam allowance are you using?
Using around 1/8th" for tiny pieces 💖
Doesn't bother me what side is up
Beautiful and video was just right. T f s ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
