    Nice work. Love the open deck trailer. Looks like you got it big enough to carry some implements too. Just got the same ripper for my BX25. Only used it once so far. Works good on some decent sized roots.

    By the time you get the binder and chains out.
    I can have strapped up and be down the road 10 miles.
    LOL

      Yep, working on switching to straps now, no need for chains and binders with a tractor this small

    Why do you need a huge deck over trailer for a BX23?

    • @LukyNumbrKevin
      @LukyNumbrKevin  ปีที่แล้ว

      All I could find at the time, bought at the beginning of COVID. Got her for a good deal. Actually looking to downsize. I agree it’s a bit big but nice to have.

      @@LukyNumbrKevin yeah Covid screwed everything up, it is a very nice trailer and gives you room for extra equipment too

      Yea it’s great when we head 5 hours north to the Farmhouse for vacation, can pack everything the family needs and all the tractor stuff.

    Have you ever tried to split a log using thumb and ripper?

    • @LukyNumbrKevin
      @LukyNumbrKevin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t believe I have, would make for an interesting video. Let me see if I can get some time away from the infant soon to make quick video.

    Does the ripper make that much of a difference compared to the backhoe. Looking to buy one just want to make sure it will make my work easier that's if there is a significant difference. Thanks mate... 👍

    • @LukyNumbrKevin
      @LukyNumbrKevin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, the ripper concentrates the hydraulic load to a single point. It is also sharp and serrated to assist with cutting of roots. Great addition if you plan on pulling a bunch of stumps.

    How long did that entire job take you? Is there anyway to add a timeline? Great video!

    • @LukyNumbrKevin
      @LukyNumbrKevin  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nah, not at this point. Including loading, travel and work time this is probably a 6 hour job, add in video editing you're at around 12 hours.

      Tell me about it, brought up north about 5.5 hours and on the hills the 1/2 ton struggled
