Todays adventure takes us west of Sundre into the wilderness to find a campsite along the forestry trunk road. I've never been in this area before so it was kind of an adventure for sure. Got to see lots of wild horses in the meantime.

Good to know MJ was with you, even though we didnt get to see her..
As a former Soldier who spent alot of time sleeping in the snow , ya gotta tell MJ she is cold BECAUSE she has sandals on . Blood spends more time at your feet than any other place on your body , hence when you have a injury ( heart or extremity ) they tell you to elevate your feet. So by wearing sandals she is allowing all of her body heat to escape.. if your feet are cold so is the rest of your body. Just some friendly FYI for her..👍
Chixs with Dixs. Good stuff Jerry 😂
😂🤣😂
Wild horses! So majestic. Great video, cheers Jerry 🍻
They are always awesome to see
16:46 Yes, fly fishing can be such a thrill even the little ones are fun to catch on a fly rod.
Very scenic.
That old Pil….never goes out of style. I remember when they used to have the tours and group gatherings at the “office/clubhouse” just off of Dewdney in Regina.
Is it still the go to beer in Sask
@@BackCountryWrenching and will be forever until the 2nd coming brother. Lol
Nice I was born and raised in Sask
@@BackCountryWrenching Same same. Moved to Florida in ‘16. Still miss it though.
Keep your mug frosty Jerry. Wheel on!
Miss seeing you do a sample pan for gold at these spots.
That’s true however there is nothing this side of the Rockies
Great vid ,nice camping by the river . I’m on my next adventure right now I’m bush camping in far north Ontario eventually I’m heading to northern BC . I’ve got the flu rod out catching some beauty speckled trout . You should get into fly fishing it’s fantastic wadding rivers and casting runs , pockets and pools , you get to see a lot of wildlife too .
Wild Bill currently Jeep adventuring Canadas remote north .
We will see, there’s a lot of patience in that
Yes there is but the rewards are plenty .
Dude your like my wife...if it's on sale out comes the cash or credit card. That stretch of river reminds me of a bend in the kicking horse river in Field BC...really nice.
Field BC is a nice place to be as well
Love that area absolutely gorgeous
Yes it sure is
If you camp out in my area on the way to the Yukon I’ll bring my T540i by and you can try it out…. It appears to be a fair bit more saw than yours but be interesting to put em side by side.
Chaps don’t stop electric saws just FYI…
I’ve seen videos where electric saws just keep going
Damn, man. What a place to be. Especially without anyone else around (except for the horses, though, who are an added bonus). I'd imagine there aren't a lot of problems that a night or two out there couldn't fix.
Yes it was super nice for sure, wouldn’t be that way in the summer time though
You got a nice camp spot there. Inside bend of that river too! Have you sampled for gold? Maybe it’s claimed?
Looks like fun!
Good gold hunting.
Take care.
No gold in this area
Bow chicka bow wow!
Hey man
Just want to say I love your content
I stumbled upon your videos just recently and I can’t stop watching
I have an 18 JK recon and love to wrench on that thing- well not when it’s a complete shit show but I just would rather do it myself most days
Anyway it’s great to see someone keeping it real and not trying to sugarcoat shit. We spend a lot of time in the area where you just were and I agree it’s super nice out there but a nightmare in the dead of summer
Keep on doing what you’re doing bro I look forward to the next video while I’m still catching up on all the rest cheers
Thanks for watching and perhaps we will see you out there someday
I would love that
Maybe even have a greasy ol beer
Happy wheeling
Great video love that area, thanks for sharing about the surface shitters, could not agree more, it is disgusting and ruins the landscape for everyone. Like the new chain saw, and the grill setup cool.😊
How was the weekend did you get out somewhere camping ?
We were out west of Cremona great area, rained but with awning and the fire bowl no problem. Wild horses right in our camp it was great.
Out past the shell gas plant in Burnt Timber ?
Yes sir
dig a hole and set up like an out house poop in the hole and then cover the hole with dirt and you don't need a bag
I used to do that but lots of areas around here are to rocky to dig a hole having a shitter is just easier
I live smack dab in the heartland of rolling Alberta foothills. If I walked through the entrance of our shitty old 1927 farmhouse with a aussie cut of beef the house is designed to implode..
Yeah I can imagine, I had no idea the beef wasn’t Canadian
MFBT!!!
I would hate to correct you in your video, but the majority of the horses you saw in that area are actually feral, not wild.
Some are escapees & some were turned out when ranchers lost the control of their land due to government influence
I have found lots of shoed tracks as well as bare hoof'd tracks thru that area when the shoes were thrown.
Again, it looks like you are exploring another area that I have camped & motorcycled & Jeep'd & rode my horses
Interesting to know thanks for the update
Shit, talk about a great spot on the river to set-up your chair and a have a cold beer! Amazing that you’re only 20 clicks from home. I would be out all the time.
No quite 20 clicks it’s that distance from where I usually camp otherwise it’s about 160km
Got it. Beautiful area.

I will let her know the good info
