- On May 7, 2021, a helpless seven-week-old infant was reported missing from his mother’s apartment in Washington, DC, but police were alarmed when they learned that baby Kyon Jones had been gone for two days by the time his disappearance was reported. After his mother gave several conflicting statements, both to police and to the public through a Facebook live interview with a local activist, it became clear that Kyon would not be located alive.
This is the story of a baby boy who never stood a chance. It’s also the story of a woman whose problems with drugs, alcohol, domestic violence, and mental illness made her the very last person who should be a parent, but who gave birth to several children, the last of whom was baby Kyon.
This is the frustrating story of Kyon Jones.

Those are 2 words that should never be uttered in the same sentence… infant and landfill 🤦♀️ there’s so many people in this world who can’t have kids who would of loved that baby… I’ll never understand 😢

So I saw the trailer for this on Facebook and I listened to it and then I read the comments and then I went and searched for the interview of his mom. THEN... Holy shit was I surprised when I got the search results back on TH-cam and scrolled down a few videos. So I go back and watch the interview video and I'm reading the comments as I'm listening. Most of them were about Kyon's mother's murder. Then when I went to watch a video about the recent news about her murder the comments echoed the same sentiment... She deserved it. He should go free.
So I said let me step away from this and wait for the podcast to drop to get the whole story because nobody really said why he did it (though the reason was alluded to in the comments). As intrigued as I was, I reminded myself to wait, and be patient, because Laine will have ALL of the details and the most recent updates. This way I can get the whole tragic story full circle at the same time.
For real though, his moms murder was a plot twist that I was not anticipating, whatsoever.

I will never understand how it gets to the point that some feel like its the only thing left to do is hurt and murder these sweet babies , it is mind blowing !!! So many people would have gladly taken this baby no questions asked and gave him the love he deserved , !!! R.I.P Baby Boy you were and still are loved and will never be forgotten !!! 💙

Hi Laine I was wondering if you could cover the Julissa Thaler case from Mound, Minnesota when more info comes out? She shot her son 9 times last Friday and he passed and she had him in the trunk of her car. I think she really needs to be exposed.

Your child's mother continually threatens to give your baby away and begs for you to get it, but you do nothing? Birth control should be mandatory for some.
Or sterilization. These people use these children for benefits for housing,food stamps,cash allotments and / or payback to the other parent. Unbelievable. I know this video is a year old now, but Ladonia Boggs, Kyons Mother who discarded him like trash was stabbed to death by the boys Father, Carl Bernard Jones, later on. I don’t know if that’s mentioned bc I’m not finished with the video yet but thought I’d share that information.

Ive listened to quite a few of these stories, & ive come to the conclusion that these women need a court ordered sterilization performed.
That they keep having babies, killing them, & have more is AWFUL!!!

What the fuck? The criteria should be “a child is missing” and should have nothing to do with how long it took the parent to respond. This is about saving the child, not the responsiveness of the parent. It’s almost like they’re prioritizing these cases on how loved the child is

A whole life stolen. STOLEN!!! Let’s think about this for a moment, and all the others that our beautiful Laine has covered. The most tragic in my opinion is Alyssa Gurnsey, my god that baby weighs heavy on my heart. For many reasons. But like I said, let’s think about this, we only get 1 chance, 1 life. How dare anyone steal the lives of these children. How DARE they. Kyon’s “mother” got what was coming to her in my opinion.
