If Meta had feet tracking it would be ankle bracelets that has the same sensors to detect angles and movement like the controllers, using AI to guess where it is, and having the camera 'see' your legs and keep track of where you moved it. Perhaps even more easier, is if you have say 4 of these trackers, and you attach them to your ankle and your knees, then the AI can tell if you are crouching because your headset and controllers is lowering itself but your ankle and knees aren't changing much? Something simplistic, and just using math and data with AI to 'know' how things are moving. Heck make it 6 trackers, 4 is for ankle and knees, 2 is for your elbows, so when you move your whole body the AI works with all the information to find a 'feasible' range of motion you are likely using... Because unlike a ragdoll, you can't bend your arms or shoulder beyond a certain point, you also can't bend your legs sideways or sprawled out in a certain position, it's impossible hence the AI should 'block' it's computing of such angles. You have a skeleton and a joint, you have a limited range of movements, it's just that in full body tracking in games and stuff, it 'assumes' your body joints can bend and be flexible in unusual positions.
it has been out for a while and you don't have to enable it since it normally happens automatically the problem is that many apps just haven't implemented it yet.

Man, the future is coming...me real people online.
happy that you are back stay awesome
I was wondering when this update will be live now my quest 3 show me no new update !?
it is in develop mode at the moment so we don't have a full release of it just yet
No updates here
You mean you havent gotten it yet ?
@@VRelity No updates here since i bought mine on release date (10. October)
this is in developer feature so you might not have it unlocked yet @@ChipMIK
@@VRelity Might be so, I'll check up on that when possible, TY 👍
Has then came out yet?
yes
Meta needs a update fix the crashes I was playing a game had 2GB file size when I recording I Starr see the game started to slow down and glitch then my vr headset crashed shut off won't turn back on I had do a reboot 😒 the quest can't handle big size games and record at same time it will cause the vr headset to crash
recording and playing at the same time might get difficult sometimes
3:10 Unity
yes my mistake
omg i love it
yessss
Very fucking insane imsgine zombie games or full body attack games specially shooting, cant wait to play mortal kombat and kick someoned body online
yesss
No. Fix the battery life. That's all they should be working on.
I could care less about battery life
Fix how? Every headset has had somewhat dismal battery life and there is a fix. Either buy an Elite strap with battery, or buy a third party headset like BoboVR or use an external battery pack.
@@am8115 If you actually had a quest 3 then you'd realize that it's terrible. Almost unplayable
@@Towerr72 My elite head strap with battery doesn't even work. Gotta wait for the Bobo accessories for the quest 3
@@dagrizza I've put 40 hours on the quest 3 already lol
your voice sound like ai, did you take some inspiration from quwebblecop?
I have no idea who that is sorry and I am definetly not an AI but that makes me a bit sad I hope it is not to bad
@@VRelity he was a popular u tuber with like 15 million subs, but he started to use ai to run everything to make his videos: he used ai for the voice, vtuber/webcam, (probably) thumbnails, video ideas, (probably) editing. I am sorry if I got mistaken about your mic being ai.
no problem @@alex5464_
Dont understand why u cant get a big screen that is totally black around? The movie theatres is annoying with the light coming from the side. Would be amazing if they could do that in an upgrade.
There’s loads of 3rd party apps for that and apps like skybox even let you use pass through to project a huge screen in your room
Virtual Desktop (focused on PCVR or personal use) or Bigscreen (focused on social sharing of video) can both do that.
There are multiple ways maybe i will make a video about it soon
i got it
Battery is complete garbage and the "elite" strap with battery literally doesn't even work. I'm like $700 into this thing and can play for an hour at a time
why does your elite strap not work?
@@VRelity The headset only detects the battery strap for like 3 seconds. Meta is sending me out a replacement but I haven't gotten any use out of it so far. It appears that most people are having the same issue. We will see once it arrives
that is interesting @@dagrizza
Quest 3 lets gooo
Latency pcvr ??????
what ?
Love when youtubers make the same video over and over again
This is actually the first quest 3 update I made. I hope you still enjoyed it.
And here I am the only one that can not stand the seeing my ‘arms” in VR while sitting on the Home Screen . I have a Quest 3 and for some reason the arms it gave me seem to come out of my neck and are far too close together to the point it is annoying. I would be more than happy with just seeing my hands like before. At least they should give us the option to switch it off
I get what you mean but as far as i know there is no option like that yet. Anyways do you still enjoy your quest 3
@@VRelity I do. Sure the honeymoon period is over and I have settled back into the casual usage phase. For awhile there I hated the stock strap so much that I didn’t use the Q3 but once my Bobo M2 to M3 kit arrived , I do not dread it as much since the facial pressure / pain by the 30min mark is no longer present
that is great yeah those headstraps really can change the way you experience vr@@Towerr72
If sony don't fix this stupid tracking problem I'm gunna send that peace of crap back and go with quest 3....well I'm getting it regardless but sony slippin...
Sony sure is my friend
Where is the update this is old news.....
this is actually fresher then fresh vr news since these features are only in developer mode at the time
God bless you all, Jesus loves you all, and I pray that you all have a good rest of the day!
❤
God watches his creations suffer
Alright
@@VRelity lmao nice
Thank you 😊 God bless you!
Why does it sound like a AI voice
sadly I heard that from more people. I don't know why it is the case but it's just the way I talk. I will try to change it
@VRelity It isn't that bad. People will definitely get used to your voice, there's no reason in trying to Sound different
thankyou will do my best@@frederminoke4301
Why can't they just sell me feet tracking?
there are trackers but they are expensive though
@@VRelity yeah but the quest 3 tracks half of the body so you only need feet not a whole body trackers.
true that @@PaceyPimp
But will they sell just the feet? Or is there anyone that can just sell feet?
not that I know yet perhaps they will later@@PaceyPimp
We need more games! We don't need more useless janky features!
You don't speak for EVERYONE!
I understand but its both hardware and software that have to work together
Can't wait until those arrogant pcvr only who spend multiple thousands to feel mad when we get inside out full body tracking headset that is as good but doesn't cost nearly as much
cost almost nothing
Very useless click bait.
I actually believe non of the news is useless or not true. I hope you still enjoyed it somewhat
Inverse Kinematics + AI I presume.
yeah exactly
Too early meh will see in june 2024 how it works
fair enough
Of coarse it's the biggest ever ....there hasn't been any before dumb title
Fair enough but it says big not biggest. I hope you still enjoyed the video
This has not actually been released in an update at all. Clickboat video.
Actually it is as we speak. I do not make videos unless its is 100 percent certain these features at the moment can be unlocked in developer mode hope you still enjoyed it
battery life is garbage?
1-2 hours pretty similar to the quest 2 so not the best. I hope that answers your question
First
no one cares
@@AnnaHirsch-x3o that's why I did it
You are fast
@@VRelity love your content!
so happy to hear that @@Rexthepitbul
The graphics looks terrible
what graphics look terrible?
@@VRelity The Wii like characters.....this is garbage graphics. Bad is bad, it might be better than before but it's not good. In a few years, you'll be like wow look at how old this tech is. With Tv's and monitors even ones from a few years ago, you won't say it looks like garbage (not as good, but not garbage).
I know what you mean but that is with all new tech I guess @@dannym5468
@@VRelity I was just hoping for more. I want good VR, but thought if PSVR2 could do eye tracking, oled, for around the same price we (consumers) could've had a better product, meta invests so much. I know there's a difference between wired/wireless but thought it would at least be on the psvr2 level without a wire.
keep in mind psvr2 uses the power of the ps5 and you also need a ps5 to run it while quest 3 is standalone that is why it is underpowered compared to that headset. @@dannym5468
Body tracking is only a concern for all the pedos in VR chat. Four generations of headsets and we want to focus on tracking instead of VR locomotion. Don't tell me kat walk c2 is a solution because its expensive, loud, and not simulating walking but simulating sliding feet.
? a majority of people would prefer fbt over vr locomotion + fullbody tracking is way easier to tackle than an advanced locomotion system not to mention it's expensive, you've got your priorities wrong
It's clear to see you know nothing about the VRC community, basically every user with a VR Headset wants FBT however they don't care about Locomotion as much as it's not exactly needed for VRC
there Is still a need for a lot of full body tracking my friend for games specifically
Please learn that “th” is not pronounced “d”. Can’t watch your videos until then.
Many cultures pronounce things in English differently because of the way their culture requires their mouth to move to pronounce the words of their language.
It's absolutely impressive that someone can speak such good English when from another culture and probably not their first language. How many languages can your racist bitch ass speak? You can't even type English correctly and I guarantee it's your first and only language. And if it's not, then you're an even bigger bitch for being a hypocrite.
It’s an accent buddy, no need to be rude
So don't watch. Pretty easy. People have accents and pronounce things differently due to how things are said in their language.
I don't want to watch videos that seem to be mostly made up of paid-for promotions, but it isn't made clear what is a promotion and what is unbiassed opinion.
So intolerant🙄 ...as if you own english languange, english is spoken differently in some countries with or without accent
Isn’t this update coming in December?
its in develop mode right now
What about facial tracking? (eyes and mouth)
quest 3 does not have that and sadly wont get it in the future perhaps when quest 4 comes out but at the moment facial tracking is only possible on quest pro
Does quest pro has space just like oclus quest 3?@VRelity
worst part about prescription lenses is you now see screen door hehe
Interesting…contact lenses it is then. Or are you saying sense your vision gets clearer thus more noticeable sde? Lol
I didn't experience that myself
Ya since it gets more clear haha@@Zeieraoh
When will this release?
in developer features at the moment so we don't know yet when full release of these features are there. I hope that answers your question
