      Thank you, Edith 💓 It is a homemade 36”x36” piece of aluminum that I had Anodized. (What a pain!!!) I lay it over 4 hot plates. For most of my work I use my R&F 16”x16” Heated Palette with its, most useful, brush rest.

    What a huge surface you are working on! Where did you get it?

      Deborah Teselle I bought a piece of aluminum and had it anodized. I place it on several electric burners and heat it to @ 200 degrees. You could just buy a Paula Roland Hotbox.

    How can you mount this monoprints to an encaustic board?

    • @lesliegiuliani6160
      @lesliegiuliani6160 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Two thin coats of R&F encaustic gesso, drying between coats, on the back will create a glue-able surface. 👍👍👍

      @@lesliegiuliani6160 What weight is the encaustiflex paper you are using in this video? What glue would you be using to permanently and evenly adhere the back of the gessoed encaustiflex painting to the wood? Thank you for your demonstration!!!

      Whoa!!! Just saw this. All weights of Encaustiflex will work. I use "YES" glue but any PVA glue should work.
