You are a legend. The app isnt available on the playstore for ASSISTANT had to download from an apk site and install for myself and its the only place the MOTOR STRENGTH function is found. The new PLAY app doesnt have it!?! Thanks for the heads up of the assistant app.
I suppose the new Play has the same setting.
You can change the settings via the gimbal’s in built menus
Finally an answer to the shaking
I have the same exact set up, Canon 6D Mark II with 50mm 1.2 lens and Zhiyun Crane V2. I am so happy to see this video.

Are you comfortable having 50mm on a gimbal? Do you use it while walking or just for some beauty scenes ?
Its not my lens of choice for the gimbal. I have a 28mm 1.8 but it is being repaired now as it feel and broke the chassis. This 50mm lens is a bit heavy at 590g while the 28mm is only 280g. So I prefer the wide angle for the gimbal and the 50 for the tripod. however, it does an ok job. I had to change the settings as you advised to strong. now it holds a bit more steady and not bounce around too much... I am practicing my walk with it, Getting ready for a wedding shoot next Saturday.

Kool.Creation i does support Big cameras, just make sure to switch it to heaving in the app in order to avoid shakeness

Yes. I have a Nikon d7100 which is about 700 with the lens it was around 1100 or something. Well within the limits. It works well but now I can perfect it

Sony cameras are more compatible with Zhiyun products. You can CHARGE THE CAMERA and use the gimbal Record Button on sony.

App controls should be for extras, not basic balance, where its payload maxes out at 4 lbs. And the motor is really noisy. However, it worked fine on my old 2008 PowerShot, but all adjustments could not balance the weight of my 700D. Maybe that’s why it shakes? Going to upgrade to a Ronin-S with an 8-lb. capacity.
Indeed Ronin S is far better than this gimbal. I'm sure you're missing something while balancing, I easily balanced it with Canon 6D which is way more heavier than 700D

I have a Zhiyun Crane Plus with a Canon 6D. If you balance with an EF 50mm f1.4 the camera mounting plate hits against the bottom motor when making 180 degree turns when tilting the gimbal forward. Also the camera's viewfinder hits against the rear motor when using a Canon EF 24-105mm IS STM lens set to 50mm, unless you keep the gimbal completely upright. Very bad flaw. The Feiyu Tech A2000 has longer motor arms and doesn't suffer from the same issue.
I'm so glad I saw your comment. I just got the crane and am using it with mark iv and 35mm lens. the range of motion for the crane is minuscule -- it keeps bumping into itself on all sides. will check out feiyu.

Great video man. I'm trying to balance a 5D mark iii with a vintage 24mm nikkor lens, no luck:( although i get it roughly balanced there is still an obvious side jitter when filming. I used the Zhiyun mobile app to select "Strong" mode and ofcourse followed your video. Still cant get it going properly. Am i simply asking too much from the V2? Total weight roughly 1250-1300 grams.
I am sorry to hear that. From my perspective, I believe the weight is not the only factor, however, the camera and lens size play an important role!
The 5D mark iii is not much different in size compared to the 6d camera I used here.

I'm trying a Zhiyun Crane V2 with a Canon 70D and a 10-18mmSTM lens and the Crane has gone a bit crazy a couple of times shaking non-stop! I looked in the App Store and I see a ZY Play which I donwloaded and I also see another App which seems to be all in Chinese...I don't see a Zhiyun Assistant. Is the ZY play the same thing?

PS would a Sony A6000 or a6500 with the kit lens be a better match for the Crane V2?
Hey Erick! The crane v2 supports 2 kg I believe. Indeed smaller camera will comfort your hands for long shoots.

It's compatible with the 80D but the record function isn't available as far as I remember
this app doesn't have the Crane 2

I had the same problem. I have Zhiyun Crane 2 and canon 7D. With the 28 -135 mm I use motor in high, but qhen i use 50 mm 1.8 i have to chande to medium and works fine

Go for hand held..
I don't understand why people use gimble and then do slow motion.. U will get similar effect with hand held if u make it slow motion...
Now this one became very old gimbal. Check newest models
