Thanks for offering this series. When your driving and concentrating on the road and traffic it's hard to see all the shops, so this is perfect! The Quilt store you showed is a really nice stop for women. They offer so much more than quilts.
Ringy Dingy. What state do you live in?
@@virginiaalexander4999 Kentucky, few short miles from Cincinnati
@@1ringydingy259 Thanks for responding. I was amazed that you remembered about my anniversary flowers. I thought maybe you might know me. You have s good memory.
@@virginiaalexander4999 I just remember what a thoughtful way to remember your anniversary with the roses. Your in PA right? I was born in PA.
@@1ringydingy259 yes. I am in Southeastern PA halfway between Philadelphia & Baltimore. We are at the MD, DE, PA triangle.
Stopping at those places are must do for us every time. We always stop there! Thank you guys!
😊
We don't come in this way so I enjoyed seeing what is out that way . I never would have known what was there . Thanks Will and Dawn.
😊
You guys are so underrated the smokies are beautiful plus you put so much work in your videos
Wonderful idea to give us a n overview of all the places along the main roads to stop and see! And you put the names of the roads too! Outstanding. And so helpful. I look forward to the next installment! Thank you!
You guys have the best life! Thank you for all you two do!! So informative ❤️❤️
Hi Will and Dawn. Had a great time watching this. Thanks for taking me with you. Stay safe. And a huge thank you. 👍
✝️🇺🇸👍 awesome thanks for taking us along for the ride
I had no clue how cool the knife works was... I’ve seen it countless times. There is so much to do that you both show us, thank you for the vlog!
Your videos are so much better than other smokey mountain videos.
😊
Will, so amazed how you come up with great ideas for videos! Can't wait for part ll ! 🤗
😊
Nice start to your grand tour😀 So many shops, and so little time😔 When I am up there, I do enjoy walking around in places, and just looking, and will never spend a dime🐾🦊🐺
I like when you give the streets, I will get the map out and see where you go. We have been to Smokies but did not see all of this. We love out of the way places .My wife likes thrift, flee markets and the discount stuff in the back of the stores. Great video!!
This is going to be a great series! Thanks for all of the google maps and directions that you show! Its very helpful. Will, your dad's hat looks good on you. Love you guys and all that you do!!
Would love to see you continue this series ❤
we are soon
Bass Pro is always our first stop. The kids love the big fish tank.
You guys go on the most funnest trips! Thank you for taking me along.😊
😊
Thank you for doing these series of videos. I love your videos. My husband and I go to mountains a lot. We love staying in Hickory NC. We go to Boone NC. We have not been to Dollywood in long time. It surely has changed. Could you do a video on Hickory NC. We really love this city. We live on the coast so it is a long drive but we always enjoy it.
Smoky Mountain Knife Works is my husbands favorite place!
Thanks for the informative video. It took me forever to find that checkers attatched to the gas station. Will definitely check out the bass pro shop
Awesome idea for the new series. Looking forward to seeing everything. It's been a while since I went to knife works. I need to get back by there. I went there with a friend who is a civil war buff and he lived it.
This was very good things to see. Never stopped at the knife works but will next time. Thanks
Awesome guys, I can't wait for part 2.❤🥰 Those are very good directions. I feel confident I'll be able to find some of that stuff now.
There is a Russel Stovers store in Wheeling, WV next to Cabelas! We love to go there and I always get the previous season’s candy on clearance! I love the itty bitty Santa’s 😄
About to take our 2nd COVID19 vaccine. We need to take a trip to Pigeon Forge area. Love it down there. For 15 years my family had 30 people down for our yearly family reunion. Greetings from Charleston, WEST Virginia
@Im Robin thank it was an honor to serve our great Nation. I'd do it again. I served from 5 Oct 73 to 4 Oct 77. Semper Fi from an old Marine Sergeant
@Im Robin Junior Sailor of the Year...WOW. I know certain MOSs are harder to get promoted in. Not sure if your son has the opportunity to obtain more promotion points... college classes, take more schooling in his MOS. Hopefully your son will be promoted soon. I was in the Marine Corps right after the Vietnam War and Marines were promoted fast. I made E5/Sgt in 38 months, ten months before I was discharged. I was offered E6/Ssgt if I'd reenlist and complete Admin Chief School. Again times were different after the Vietnam War in the USMC. HQ Marine Corps was doing everything they could to get Marines to reenlist in 1977. I hope your son will be promoted soon. I'm sure he's disappointed. Semper Fi and greetings from Charleston, WEST Virginia
@Im Robin yes its fine to share with your son. But I want you to know I was not bragging about myself, just sharing about promotions back in 1973-1977. Since its 2021, Im not sure how promotion work in the Navy. Again all I can say is, if he could figure out how to obtain more promotion points. I'm not sure if he has to appear before a "promotion board." But If he has to appear before a promotion board, he has to look sharp; fresh haircut, pressed uniform and have a look of confidence. But, again I'm not sure IF he has to appear before a promotion board. But, I hope he figure out a way to work on getting MORE promotion points. Thank you, stay safe and again greetings from Charleston, WEST Virginia.
I look forward to this series.
We have never been to Smoky Mountains Knife Works. It will be on our places to visit now. My husband and I would enjoy the historical artifacts displayed. We haven't been in the Russell Stover Outlet either. We don't leave the Smokies going off of that exit. We go out through Dandridge so we don't pass the Russell Stover Outlet. I love chocolates and Russell Stover chocolates are high quality so maybe one day I will go in there. Thanks for doing this series. There is so much to see and do coming off of 407 heading to the Smokies!
Great video, I'm looking forward to seeing this series continue. Some these places I've stopped at and some I've just see in passing. I've been coming to the Smokies since 1985. Its a awesome place looking forward to coming back in May.
Thanks for sharing! For that cherokee resort maybe they should do a separate exit off the interstate to control the traffic and call it exit 407B.
I'm so glad I found you two. Im learning so much for our next trip. A lot of the stuff you two post is stuff I wouldn't learn about anywhere else or get as good or as honest as a review. 🥰
They built a Buc-ee's in Leeds, Alabama, not far from my house. My brother stopped in, and got us a BBQ sandwich. It was absolutely delicious!! I've wanted one since I watched y'alls video when y'all went to Buc-ee's!!❤
Really like the added headings, the map and road directions on these videos ...Great idea literally touring the strip! Traffic can be so bad that your so busy watching the road you miss alot of these places! Those relics were awesome! Hey Will your supose to say coke ta cola don't forget that!! 🤣😂🤣Im gonna be listening for that next time 😂😂😊 Thanks Will and Dawn for showing us what we probably miss driving into town🤗👍 o love the old hound dog with the cowboy hat🐕
😊
Will and Dawn you are in my favorite place Russell Stivers 👍👍👍👍
Love the Knife Works. Something for everyone there. Love this series you will be doing.
Thank you for showing us some new places you don't usually see.
Fun review. Thanks for letting us tag along.
Hey guys a great place my wife and I found this year is the ogle furniture store in sieverville. It’s amazing because they have antiques mixed in with the furniture and I mean tons. Worth the visit.
We have a video in our library of Ogle furniture
Great video. Have been to bass pro many times and never knew of the shooting range or the aquarium. Also I didn't realize smokey mountain knife works had a historical section. Always in such a hurry when we visit, we miss the small stuff. This is why I love the videos.
Great Bass Pro Shop and the smoking mountain ranges excellent excellent excellent
I would love to see one on things that are handicap friendly
Another 5 star video. Hoping sometime your show Pigeon Forge and/or Gatlinburg sports/gyms. I heard one of them has bowling and other activities in the buildings.
Wonderful video! Will definitely visit some of the stops.
Don't forget to stop at Food City on the left and get me some Frosty Blue Cream Soda which I haven't had in several years. And my husband loved SMKW!!! Might come and stay at the Black Bear Inn again where I saw your jeep ride by from my side street balcony last year. You guys were just leaving the park. It was us 3 ladies from Maryland. This time I'm coming by myself...Easier! And getting a front balcony! Probably in the spring. Jill in Maryland...Is Texas Roadhouse still closed? Is Calhoun's opened??
Thank you for sharing this with us!!
Will and Dawn you forgot the Swaggerty meat plant, not sure if you still can,but a few years ago,you could actually go to the company store, there at the process plant, and buy meat, check it out next time you are back out around exit 407
Lobe love your videos, really enjoyed the museum. Thanks for sharing your day!!
Awesome blog there guys nice to see all the things as you come in a lot of people probably pass and don’t realize that are there thanks for taking the time out to show us

Will you are looking very sharp with that new hat in your recent videos. Dawn always has a nice hat rotation going on so very cool to see you rotating the hat collection 😀
That was Lee Greenwood restaurant and theater, wish it was still open!!!
I've just recently started watching your videos and you two are adorable.

Can you tell on that Cherokee blue print if they are going to have some RV spots or campsites at their new destination? Wow! I never would have have stopped into the knife works. It's just not my thing. Now since you highlighted it and it's more than a knife store, I will have to go there my next trip. It's pretty neat. Thanks!

Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
That was really good... thanks for all of the info.
Smoky Mountain Knife Works has a nice website with lots of cool stuff too.
Love this video thanks ❤👍
Enjoyed your video, guys. Looking forward to your next one.
Great video, thank you for sharing. Do they give tours of the Russel Stover candy factory?
I'm guessing not
The Russel Stovers store is just an outlet. The candy factories are located in Kansas, Colorado, Texas and Missouri. It would be fun to tour. I am stuck in the hills and mountains of Tennessee.
Hi. I'm happy I finally found you. Really enjoying all of your videos. Planning a getaway to Gatlinburg soon. Planning our days and finding your info very helpful.
😊
I love Bass PPro for a free adventure. I always end up buying a thing or two.
In part 2, you have to tell everyone about Uncle Hanks!
AWESOME video thanks for sharing it
I love your videos. There is sooooo much to see and do in the Smokies.
When did that bass pro open? I don’t remember seeing it last year
I'm not sure 😕
great video. This should be an awesome series.
Always love the Knife Works. Load the chihuahuas up in the stroller and browse the store. The staff there must be the friendliest staff in the entire area. What a place....
Hope y’all stay safe down there
Will & Dawn, really loved and enjoyed your awesome video! Is Russell Stovers based in Tennessee? I had one of their Maple Eggs and loved it. What absolutely beautiful scenery! Thank you for taking me to places I'll never get to see! My heart's in Tennessee but, my home's in Oklahoma!
We were just at the Knife Works yesterday ☺️
I think we an say with some degree of confidence that a Buc-ee’s will definitely be in that area! LOL 😂
Thank for the tour
Awesome video and I'm like two and a half miles around the corner from the Bass pro shop you guys will have to let me know if you're ever close up this way again.
Hi. I love your channel! We visited for the first time last summer and really enjoyed ourselves. Would you guys ever consider doing in person tours?
