Heck yeah just ran my 8s today for the first time. I can tell you personally that this truck comes "just assembled". All of its settings are as stock as and tame as can be. Timing stock is zero and goes up to 15! Punch set to 3 of 5. I did a sweet and proper prep, and break in. On all stock it is loud . Stock center diff fluid is pretty thin and front tires unload. I can't wait until I dial it up and put some secret stiffiners in it, it's gonna be more scary than it is now, this truck is massive in person . Don't hit anyone with it whatever you do, it won't just break your leg it will decapitate it for sure

I love my 6S Kraton, I can't keep the front end on the ground running a 6S battery on 100! I am in the process of cleaning all the difs and changing the fluid.

nate i have a question concerning a boat. i replaced the motor on my feilun ft012 but now the radio wont connect. i touched nothing else. any idea why or how to fix?
Re-bind radio and receiver and calibrate esc as a first step with any electrics changes. Good luck and hope you get fixed up soon 👍

It looks to be the more stable of the two at that speed. Nate you might like this I just had 4 Harvard trainer planes fly past in formation (I think they may have been used in WW2).
The brakes are only 50% and 75% on them settings 😊 Great vid guys 👍

I have the V2, had to put belted tires and up the diff fluids. I've had it up to 54mph in the grass before I got belted tires

Doesn't turning the throttle rate down basically just restrict the ESC's range and can turn brakes and reverse off?
It definitely seems that way, yes. However I wish we could still have 100% brakes on all three speed settings. 👍⚓😎

Hey guys, nice find, really awesome shape for used. I also have it in blue. That is actually the V4 version. The stock radio is junk to say it lighty, when you change throttle settings to 50 and 75%, you can run into problems with brake and reverse. It's really glitchy and can run away on you. Enjoy your new rig! 👍

I have a question my wife got me DJI tello a early Christmas present and it’s my second drone but my first camera drone and I’m not us to flying fpv cause I’m us to flying line of sight, can y’all give me some pointers on flying fpv🙏🏽

The Kraton tracks so straight and it really is fast right out of the box. No need to pop in the other pinion to prove that it's faster... unless you want to :) . A fantastic RC that you were lucky to get at what I guess was a great price.
They can toss out that DX2 remote!
@@FLSharkdiver I have the V3 with the Tactic transmitter. I have an Outcast 4s with the DX2. The lag at times makes me wonder if it's not broken... I know it's not. I should swap it out for a DUMBORC transmitter.
Your 8s will go that fast or faster if you program the esc. The default is low power mode.⚓️

So I’m confused on the whole 3S 6S thing. I know it’s voltage or whatever. But does 6s mean faster? The Vorteks goes about the same speed but has a smaller battery. If you’re looking for speed wouldn’t you go with 3S? I’m confused on what actually makes the car faster lol
It's not about speed. The bigger the scale, the rougher the terrain it can handle. So a 6s car will have a bigger motor and larger battery than say a 3s, but it will probably weigh twice as much fully loaded. Like in real cars, power to weight ratio determines speed, so chances are they'll go similar speeds. So why buy 6s over 3s? A Kraton 6s can be used in places a Big Rock can't.

That's funny. Mine hits 52 on 6s as well. (2x 3S 50C Reaction2 5000 mah Batteries) Without the included 'speed gear' or pinion. I'd like to get a smaller 6s 100c pack that weighs much less and install that pinion gear then retest. I'd like to see it break 60. And I gotta hand it too people like you guys. I don't know how you can do this will all the ridiculous comments and things people say.. I cringe when reading through the comments. I have to remember there are probably a lot of kids and younger people here that don't necessarily know how to act or use manners. Of course that's just the world we live in now. Parents don't teach manners anymore. They teach entitlement. Smh... Glad you guys added the 6s to your collection. Have you tried the Mojave? It's a beast!
