The sad version of Moonlight Densestsu here also plays at the very end of episode 123, two episodes before the final battle between Saturn, Moon, and Mistress 9. It's the scene where the five senshi (in senshi form) very dramatically walk down the streets of Tokyo to Mugen High, prepared for battle and determined to save Hotaru and the rest of the world. It's a very touching scene, really. I'm not sure what it is about Sailor Moon S, but it's always fucked with my emotions so much more than the other seasons. Well, maybe with the exception of Stars. I've just always admired Usagi and her values in this season, and I find the conflict and relationship between Hotaru and her father touching as well. I think this is the season where we see how much Usagi has grown as both a senshi and a person. I think she's confident and fearless, and I really admire how selfless she is in her belief of not sacrificing anyone.
Lol me and my Sailor Moon S tangents. Sorry, Aije. I completely understand and respect that you're not a fan of S, though. You're not the only one :)

That is a really nice proplica! I'm usually not impressed with many but this one is quality. Sounds good, colors and materials. Thanks for showing. I agree with you regarding the boxing. Very nice.

That extra piece goes into the space that is missing when you remove the top part. It's just like the extra piece with the crystal star.

Aije, that part is for when you detach the compact. You place it in the electronical part (bottom part, not the lid!), so you can use it for cosplay/display. This was also in the crystal star compact too, and probably will be for the Crisis proplica and the Eternal compact proplica xD.
+Something Something Gotcccccha. Yeah I never took apart my Crystal Star. Mine was strangely really really tight. Like this one opened up fine. That one creaks when I pull so I just never bothered forcing it. I don't even remember a piece being with the instructions. I wonder if I even looked at the instructions for that one.

I finally bought this Proplica after saw your video! Here in Brazil is hard to find this Proplica and in Japan costs about US$160! I bought from a Italian seller from Lombardia (100km from Milan). Your reviews are really cool,!
I had a cosmic heart compact from hot topic. It was made of delicate material and the pink was sparkly and got scratched up. I used it as a mirror and put it in my bag so that's how.
I want to get another one to just leave on my shelf as display so it stays nice

I'm honestly a bit sad that it doesn't make a sound when you open the compact, like it did with the original compact, but I guess you wouldn't be able to remove the lid in that case-

The sad music is monlight denetsu and the compact plays it because they used that theme when sailor moon upgraded to cosmic moon power you can even hear the sound effects

I'm SUPER late on this but I know what the sad version of Moonlight Densetsu is supposed to symbolize. It's from the creation of the Spiral Heart Moon Rod and the Cosmic Heart Compact from episode 91. The last part's sound effects match those found in the show when the Compact is formed to a T.

I really love this proplica but unfortunately mine for some reason has like a small white spot and the center edge bump of the heart inside since its plastic :/ I don't feel like doing that whole exchange thing but jeez I wish they'd at least try to pass good proplicas during quality control cause it seems like they toss in the ones they assume are "minor defects" yet we end up paying so much for them x-x

Does anyone know from which scene in the anime the sound of 5:59 is?? 'Cause I cannot refer it, and it's not from the last scene in Ep 125, where Sailor Moon activates the power of the holy grail for the last time, because there is another music. So does anyone know from which scene this is? It is also not from Ep 123, because they is the sad music, but not the sound effects like here are... EDIT: Never mind, got it, its from Ep2 from Sailor Moon S, where she gets the brooch.
Hey Aije, I wanted to ask you... I'm not sure if I got a defective compact but I have mine on the highest volume and it sounds muuuuch more faint than the crystal star locket. Can you please compare your two and tell me if yours sounds the same?
animaniac1 Mine is quieter. I think it's just how they did this one. The last few were louder.

To me the audio sounds exactly like the audio from the episode in season 3 where she loses her crystal compact powers then gains her cosmic compact powers when her and tuxedo mask hold hands
Just got mine. At first I thought it was from the last episode when she transformed into Super Sailor Moon without the chalice but checked and was wrong.
In the booklet it also says it's from episode 91. When she first got her power up fighting against the cat puzzle daimon (you can hear the daimon falling to pieces lol)

This is really nice! The sounds are a little disappointing though, especially compared to some of the other proplicas that you have in your collection. Do you happen to have any info about the upcoming heart locket proplica? I heard that it is supposed to be released this month.

Hey Sailor Tortilla or anyone that owns this proplica, do You notice on your lid changes in the color? Not only i can't get rid of stains on the red parts, the gold parts start to look discolored and nasty and I don't know if its my fault or is it the materials because i dont have those issues on like Crystal Star and wands...
Yes, some Proplicas seem to have this issue all on their own sadly :( My best recommendation is that you wipe it with a clean dry cloth after handling to avoid oil from your hands interacting with the paint and never leave it in the sun. I've heard even that might not stop the color from changing though ;_;

What is the difference in the Toei stickers? Yours is gold, the one I was trying to buy is silver and has a 4 in upper right corner
Normally Gold = for Japanese sales and Silver is for international. There have however been items in Japan with silver or white Toei stickers.

Hola! Creo que hablas español como una vez vi en uno de tus vídeos. Mejor porque así puedo expresarme mejor :) No sé si resolviste lo de la pieza color rosa. Cuando retiras la parte superior del broche, si ves el corazón tiene un borde color rosa también, pero se queda incompleto cuando retiras la tapa. La pieza suelta que vino con el manual, es para que quede completo y se vea bien cuando se muestren las dos partes por separado. En el manual (la parte que muestras en el vídeo) hay un recuadro que indica que puedes poner la pieza suelta de esa manera para que muestres el broche abierto y no se incline hacia atrás, pero eso es sin retirar la tapa. Me gustan tus vídeos y reviews, te felicito por tu colección. Saludos! :}

The Cosmic Heart is my favorite item ever! Proplica has done an amazing job with these remakes but I feel the music is too high pitched and the bings are too slow on this one. Still a beautiful item!

+CrystalMoonStar Those stores sell the International releases, which come out a few months after the Japanese release (this one). Hope that clears things up.
