Hi! We're Hannah and Chad! We met at college and got married in August of 2016. As poor newlyweds and recent college grads, we moved to New York City to begin our careers in finance. Only one year later, after accumulating over 2 million miles and points through "travel hacking", we booked round-the-world business class tickets to over 40 countries for free. We quit our jobs, sold everything we owned, and began this once-in-a-lifetime adventure on August 27, 2018.

Hi Chad, sorry for this experience, actually there have many direct buses(new company) to Yangon. The Bagan Minthar was like local owns and they stop every hour to support locals shops and restaurants, I hope you can understand. In the first few minutes there you can see the Famous traveler and JJ Express also(Many foreigners recommend this), they are serving the new model Scania, Man Buses and they not stop at every hour and some buses only go on the night time. So you not feel very hot and save your time. Once again thanks for the video and i was from Myanmar.
These cheaper morning buses have more stops. There are more expensive VIP ones that would not load cargo every stop. They usually run at night. "Luxury" is just a label they put on to differentiate the extra services they provide like air conditioning, towels and stuff.

Bus travel in Myanmar is strikingly similar to India, but long haul journeys are generally preferable during night.

all high-way bus have a limit times to in/out yangon city....don:t allowed other times....

1)including tobacco
2) sweet paan (No tobacco)

Paan has tobacco.
Just the beetle leaf and nut is good for digestion. After meals, elderly people have this.

@@HannahandChad Yeah ! I liked it as a regular viewer :-) Since you're giving a similar write-up in the description of vlog, the intro of this vlog seems apt. :-)
But Somewhere down the line from a point of view of new viewer, "what's up" and then no voice overlay may not sound logical. Maybe you can experiment on how to improvise the intro further. "Rapid compilation" of places you've visited looks awesome , but maybe a text/supporting voice overlay is good :-) {maybe I'm used to Hannah's intro} 😊

The white paste is limestone paste (betel leaves).
There are flights between Yangon and Bagan which would have saved you time and hassle of traveling on Burmese roads and buses for 10 hours.
There are trains in Burma but they are in bad shape right now. The roads are not much better either. Flights might be the only way to get places fast in Burma.
Decades of military rule and internal conflicts have resulted in decrepit infrastructure in Burma and it will take time for them to get it back up to shape, hopefully with foreign aid and tourism revenue
