This game for whatever reason has a special place in my heart no matter how much it sucks and how many times I uninstall it I always find myself playing it again somewhere in the future just wish it would get better 😅
APB has a bad stigmatism around it, yes the companies that have owned this game over the years were money hungry but the game was actually good. I sunk over 4000 hours into apb. It has to this day one of the best customization systems put in place which is why this game was so much to make. You can literally make your own art and decals to put on your clothes, cars billboards or even just sell your art on the marketplace for some in game money. The character creator was waaaaay ahead of its time. Their is even a music creator within the game… you can make music and play it in your car for all the world to hear or you can even set that music to play after you get a kill, the player you killed will hear your set song. There are just so many things that can be done. And the gameplay itself is fun too, gunplay and going on missions with your friends or clan can bring in some serious fun. Did the game have issues? Oh yeah it did… server lag, bugs that I can’t even explain. Hackers and micro transactions out the butthole.. BUT you don’t need to spend money, I hear a lot of people complain about it being pay to win, which is just wrong, you can slay people with just the starter weapon the star 556 and your crappy starter car. As long as you have knowledge of the game you are fine. I will say though, there should be a better balance to the pvp of the game, because this game is bad to new players, as a new player you can get matched up with a max level gold threat op and have a horrible time. It’s better to go into it with friends and take your time and learn the game. I wish we could get a remake of this game, or just give us the engine update they have been promising for the last 10 years. I see a lot of misrepresentation for this game,and yeah it has its issues but there is a lot to love too. Oh and for you console players out there, I would t try APB on the console. It’s not even the same servers and it is one of the most busted versions of APB you could play. Don’t know why the servers are still up for consoles honestly… it was a project that gamersfirst started and failed, now little orbit has done little at all to improve its state. good customization, amazing concept, decent world. all ruined by the weird floaty feeling of the movement and the constant up and down bunnyhopping tryhards. im not really interested in playing a shooter where people are bouncing all over the place unless its Titanfall. also the gunplay sucked so much ass. didnt feel satisfying at all and the bloom (bloom should not be in shooters imo) was the final nail in the coffin. if they released APB 2 i want it to be a boots on the ground experience, not having to fight a bunch of kids cornerpeeking and jumping everywhere
It had potential but the whole paying to play was probably why it got rated so low imagine paying 50 for a game and then paying triple the amount to be able to play for a year lmao
Yes I did find cool people. Pro players make me do all tasks so I can learn the game. My skills are getting rusty in FPS/TPS, I feel very bad everytime i die, or maybe I need to choose different weapons depending on situations. Kill cams have a friendly music tone. Funny part as a rookie enforcer is there are some criminals who are toxic in game and I only tell them that they are doing their role perfectly 😂

Old player here.. someone needs to convince a gaming company to buy APB and revamp the entire thing. I really miss the mechanics of this game..
