Yes I agree, sacrificing an exchange while the bar stays on equal means that there is compensation for the sacrifice and it is very hard to calculate for the defending player especially when there is so many moves to consider

After 12. Nc3, white has a 72.6% win rate thus indicating that this position is very difficult to defend. The 1997 game continued 12. ...Qh4 13. g3 Qe7? to which white failed to see 14. Wow man, haven’t seen such domination at this level. Great example of an attack game, amazing how many moves he already calculated before rook sacrifice. Grischuk didn’t even play, just moved his pieces according to Ediz’s plan

That was a brutal attack
Absolutely no time for Alexander Grischuk, even to breathe

this is the problem in rapid and blitz, no time to recolect prep....and we are talking about Grischuk
Very informative. Thx for doing the research.
What a sick sequence to trap the queen in the middle of the board wow
Thx for doing the research.
Ediz became desk 1 champion. He won all games except Carlsen.
With carlssen hé make draw
Helal Ediz Türkiyeden böyle agresif satrançılar görmek güzel
Turkish juniors are insane
He sacrificed his rook and then started an unstoppable attack, crazy
