In this video, I show you how I propagate my Monstera Thai Constellation. This is one way of propagating a Monstera Thai Constellation. This is the first time I only make one chop or cut and it was still equally as stressful 🤣🤣🤣. Thankfully, it was a success! You can use this method to propagate a monstera deliciosa since they grow the same way. My monstera lives in LECA and passive hydroponics (semi hydroponics)

Monstera Thai Constellation is my first rare plant and although I have more expensive plants now, this one still has a special place in my heart. Mons Albo is all about cut cut cut, but I had never thought about cutting my Thai until this. :D

Hi Kevin, you have the biggest & baddest MTC I have ever seen!! 😍 I just ordered mine (can’t wait to receive her!!!), I plan to also grow her in leca, as I do with the rest of my plant collection! Can you share what type of nutrients you use for feeding her? I’ve been using general hydroponics maxigro for all my leca plants for the past almost 2 yrs, but I’m definitely open to feeding it another type if that will make it as gorgeous as yours!!!
I got a very less variegated one. Just a few dots around the leaves. Is there any chance I can get mine to look like yours when it grows bigger?

How did you apply the general hydroponics rapid start?
Hey Kara, I added it to my nutrient solution at the end. For every gallon, I used 2mL. I would change the nutrient solution every 2 weeks.
So beautiful!! BTW, which one is easier to take care of, the Thai constellation or the albo borsigiana?
In my opinion, the Thai constellation. That's not to say that the albo is difficult. I have 2 and they are growing well 🥰! It's just the fear of either losing the variegation or getting totally white leaves (which are useless and will just die 🤣) with the albo.

I think the thai constellation is easier because you don't have to worry about it reverting.
Thai constellation gets bigger though, so you need space to house it.
Otherwise care is similar...keep an on it to earlh spot spidermites or thrips and make sure the medium is very airy, so they won't rot.

is the mother plants roots soaked in water?
Yeah it seemed that the roots grew so much it grew out of the net and it was sitting in the nutrient solution.
