  • I'm finally aiming to make it to my first Beyblade X tournament, but that means I've got to put together a deck, so let's go over some of the things we can do to decide on what to bring, depending on how involved we want to be. So if you have any suggestions please share them!

Recently Won a local 3on3 tournament using these:
    Viper tail 5-60LF
-a previous comment mentioned the blade being a surprising good attack, which i couldn't agree more. Had a lot of success using it's recoil to either burst opponents or send them flying into extreme or over zone.
    Hellscythe 4-60 Orb
    - surprisingly, able to take lots of heavy hits and still stay spinning.
    Shark Edge 3-60B
    - my main attack. The idea here is to reduce the movement so it doesnt waste stamina hitting the rails trying to extreme finish an opponent, but rather deplete opponent's stamina with its upper attack, or bursting them with the right launch angle. My main attacker that earned me lots of points in the tournament.

Congrats on the win! I'm gonna have to revisit Viper Tail, I liked it, I think I just ended up going with Hells Scythe, but could always run Hell Scythe as a more balance build and Viper Tail more attack.
I'm glad the Orb bit on Hells Scythe was working for you, gives me hope it'll work for me haha, and the ball on Shark Edge is cool, I was debating between Low Flat and Point for mine, with the idea that Point may give it a little more stamina to possibly outspin attack mirrors.
Thank you so much for sharing your deck!

    • @amaikohii
      @amaikohii หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@blablaroarwwe it makes the shark's movement more controlled, becoming a stationary attacker where it attacks opponent who comes to it, rather than it wasting stamina to hunt for the opponent all around the stadium.
There's a few drawbacks to this, such as much easier getting bursted due to recoil, or because of positioning, you get sent out of stadium.

2:08 Hey, that’s me, DLSBlader!😂 thanks for the acknowledgement!
Some feedback on your combos. They’re really solid for the most part. I’d put 5-60 Ball on the HellsScythe, 5-60 adds more stability and burst resistance while Ball adds more stamina. That combo got me second place in that tournament. For the SharkEdge, I’d put it on 4-60. 4-60 is a really flat ratchet even compared to the other 60’s so it lets you get even lower when attacking. For the WizardArrow, I’d personally switch it out for the PhoenixWing9-60Orb combo. It has amazing stamina by virtue of having a 6 to 7 gram weight advantage on most X beys and being able to throw them around and knock the stamina out of them. The 9-60 ratchet is possibly the best in the game as it has unbelievable burst resistance and stamina to match. And Orb gives it enough stamina to go toe-to-toe with the best combos in the game and gives it unparalleled defense with the added weight from Phoenix. The only downside is that if it starts to tilt, it probably won’t get back up with how top heavy PhoenixWing is.

Pick 3 choose one is a really interesting choice for X, as it kinda relies on switching or having mutiple beys. There's a lot of super interesting decks out there! Deck building can be pretty simple with a balance deck, but some of the interesting ones I like are the anchor deck and the control deck. Anchor takes one bey, say HS on ball, and focuses on it, with the other two beys covering its weaknesses and bad matchups. It's hard to make in a meta like this at current, but I loon forward to using it in the future! The other deck, a control deck, is super cool too. You create two solid beys with a common weakness, and then cover that with your third bey. Something like a HS HN and a KS N with a dransword. Both the first two lose hard to pure stamina, so your force them to counter with stamina, let them get the outspin for 1 point, and then clean up with attack. Super neat stuff when you take the time to mess around with it haha! Great content as usual man, keep it up! And hey, if you ever have any questions, thoughts, or just whatever about beyblade, feel free to hmu, even if I can't answer, I know a lot of top players who can!

Thank you for all of this info, having a breakdown of deck types is super helpful, I didn't know there were names or types to describe them etc. I'm definitely looking forward to the future as well as we get more options to have an even wider meta potentially. I haven't yet built my Deck for tournaments if they will ever happen in the Netherlands but I do feel partial to building a deck around the Animal themed Beys those being SharkEdge, LeonClaw, ViperTail and RhinoHorn so I am gonna have to pick between the four of them or rather three cause SharkEdge is kind of an auto-include especially with its release in the DranDagger Deckset weighing in around 35 grams.

The deck has changed so many times over the course of filming this video I had to call it at one point to finish filming, so it's possible I've overlooked things, there was a point I had ball and orb in the deck, and may have been so focused on other aspects I didn't think to test between the two again for HS. Either way I'm gonna use the experience to learn, though I may try and sneak in some more testing now lol

    Hell scythe 360 b
The 360 tho is not used a lot with it in the meta tourney for us but since the last thing they release is Shark edge, there’s no option like 560m
    Wizard arrow 480 hn
It’s much harder to burst than 60s and still have decent stamina
    Shark edge 460 n
Well, might some say it’s bad, but se has good attack in high stamina making it with needle have a hard hit when start

in my opinion there is no such thing as Beyblade X Deck because of how the game is designed and how a dedicated stadium is built for beyblade X the game becomes completely random!!! everything depends on luck and how the discs bounce off the stadium walls!!!
In my opinion, Beyblade X is not Beyblade at all I am a supporter of the classic stadium where the disks beat each other until they run out of energy this is what I loved about this sport you can strategize the angle of the shot with the force of the shot learn and develop strategies learn the properties of each BEY...
...beyblade x is just random it doesn't matter your skills or strategy when you fight in a dedicated stadium

Since I've only just gotten into the hobby I only have this generation as a point of reference, but I've been enjoying the building aspect so far, and enjoyed the tournament today, and saw things that I clearly did wrong that caused me to lose rounds, but I do lack knowledge of previous generations, so I can't compare them.
