  • Solo practice is something I've seen discussion around being not the most viable for Beyblade X, and I wanted to talk about it as a new player and beginner and how it affects me and how I plan to work around it.

      @BeybladeJourney if you are able to find some of the first generation(plastic era) beys they are so much fun. Sadly the plastic may be fragile these days. But the contruction is so satisfying and the various shapes in design feel more diverse that other generations.

    One detail to note: using a String Launcher will be better for solo play as the retracting string allows for shorter time differences between each Beyblade being launched compared to the Winder Launcher!

    learning on your own is a really valuable thing in beyblade
    you can learn a lot just by doing practice
    for example I learned that stock knightlance's bursting problem isn't caused by the hight not even the 4 point's on the ratchet
    it's the ratchet bit locking mechanism
    as we all should know every single ratchet has white pom tabs inside that hold the bit in place these tabs have varying amount's of resistance that they use to hold the bit the connection also gets looser overtime form wear of the tabs
    lance's ratchet has probably the lest resistance put on the bit right after dransword's
    the bey bursts a lot more just from pure impact and recoil rathe rather then hitting the ratchet
    yes the height can be a problem and the bey more vulnerable to ko's but the bursting ain't it's fault
    even my dran that has it's ratchet more worn on the tabs inside that hold the bit burst more often when delivering a really heavy attack rather than getting the ratchet hit
    really good video as always man 👍gonna share it wherever I can

    I solo battle ALOT.
    It’s actually helped me fine tune my launch style per setup and everything a lot. Like ALOT.
    Even finding the nuance of different blade interactions, & finding some pretty fun combos.
    I typically use a string launcher, as even tho it’s slightly weaker than the ripcord launchers, it can be used to launch the blades within 2-3 seconds of each other, reliably so.
    There’s too much cool down for the ripcord launchers unfortunately.

    I saw a video of this JP guy holding two string launchers side by side with one hand and using his other hand to pull both strings at once so it's totally doable to play and test solo.

    Yo! Been a big blader since mfb and even did a tournament once (although there aren't many in my area sadly as well as atm I think most are mfb? then again atm the entire scene is just one whatsapp group and I haven't been active in it for a long while. I hope we get to see a shift to x)
    Really informative videos on your channel! Love the vibe of this being a more chill, focused on adults kinda vibe! I don't often watch beyblade content because I tend to feel it's a bit generic or unfocused? Just a bit chaotic but these vibes are great and I love seeing the new perspective of a blader starting out! Gonna have to do something rare and ring the bell as well as recommend it to friends interested in beyblade!
    Do you think next time whenever you mention tools like Beybuilder X you could send a link in the description? would be really nice.
    Good luck on your journey! Can't wait to see how you improve and maybe even see you tackle a tournament! Also for testing, if x gets as popular as burst it'll be only a matter of time till there will be a grip from china that allows for dual launching with string launchers. I haven't used it myself yet due to falling off of burst due to hasbro but while I don't think it beats testing with two people. it'll help reducing the time to launch between each bey.,

      I totally meant to link the website, thank you for mentioning that! I can't put links in my video descriptions yet, so I meant to pin it in a comment, so I'll do that right now. Just so you don't have to go looking for the comment, the site is - fabelavalon.github.io/BeyBuilderX/

    Trust me dawg, the answer is yes. Sure, there are some aspects you can't do like with another player, but just testing launches and such can be a fantastic boon to your game. It's like golf, learn how to make your bey move like you want, and then practice those launches until you've got them down. For stamina battles, launch the 2nd one ever so slightly weaker so they match up better in spin time. You can test attack against a stationary bey in the center, and it's usually good enough for Atk practice. Another thing you can do is make two decks, on for you and one for a hypothetical opponent. Pick your order and then randomly shuffle the opposing deck and then just do that and practice deck building. I live in NY and there's nobody around here to my knowledge, so I've had to practice on my own since I started at the start of Burst. It hasn't really held me back all that much I'd say. And you man? Nah, don't let anything hold you back, you clearly care a lot about this stuff and it's obvious you've been putting in the work and learning beyblade X, so keep it up man!

    • @BeybladeJourney
      @BeybladeJourney  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I really like the idea of building a deck and mixing up a random deck order to practice against, gonna have to try that, thank you for the idea!

    • @bladekidWBO
      @bladekidWBO 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BeybladeJourney yeah! Glad to hear it! Honestly, when you don't know the opponent, the choices are basically random, and that's ten fold if all the combos are top tier.

    • @BeybladeJourney
      @BeybladeJourney  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I may have to try the string launcher again then, I was finding I could be quicker having the two launchers in my hand rather than trying to load another beyblade in the string launcher, but I could just be slow lol

    • @nizumablader
      @nizumablader 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@BeybladeJourney it’s definitely something that you get quicker at the more you do it, it’s also more efficient time wise because your not constantly having to insert ripcords

    • @adjustedstew3444
      @adjustedstew3444 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With this generation the ripcord launchers are actually stronger because they have two gears as opposed to the one in a string launcher, so while a string launcher will be best for testing by yourself, it is important to note that at a tournament or while playing with someone else you should use a ripcord launcher. It isn't an insanely big difference, but it's still there.
