Weather you're a long time fan from the original plastics era or just starting out with Beyblade Burst, everything in this video is essential if you want to start winning your Beyblade battles against your friends and rivals.
This video has been a long time in the making (not as long as some of my other videos but... it's up there). I'm not 100% used to completely scripted content as my only point of reference before was my Splatoon guides, so hopefully this turned out alright. This video primarily goes over the fundamentals of Beyblade so there is the possibility of me making more in depth videos around a specific area of Beyblade later on.

I am watching this in 2022 and have released a dash variant of bearing in the overdrive set of beyblade burst dynamite battle
Then there's me ordering venom diablos in 2023 expecting it to surpass my almighty Hyperion ( Hyperion has never lost a battle)
Me in 2024 getting back to letting it rip

For those who dont know:
Parrallel = standard
Banking= rush launch
Sliding = left elbow bent, pull the launcher away from you while you pull the ripcord.
Controlled = less power and speed, but more controllable just a slow launch basically.
weak launch can be used in certain situations,
-your opponent is so aggressive you weak launch in the hopes they self ko
-they're opposite spinning (causing a burst if they spin way faster)
-they can steal your spin (if you launch weaker you'll steal theirs)

I was the same, i liked metal fight as a kid and only got back into it when i was 19 during covid lol. Must have been about a 10 year gap for me.

Thanks for the tips (not the performance kind). For favourite part combo, back in plastic gen;
AR: War Lion. Sub AR: Dragon Saucer Sub, WD: Wide Defencer, SP: Defense Ring. BB: Custom Grip Base. SG: Left SG (Bearing Version) with Bearing Stinger shaft (Hasbro Ver.) or Left Neo SG (Double Bearing Core) with Wolborg 2 Shaft. For a Zombie, though I could switch the Wide Defencer weight to like a 10 heavy and SG to Right for a more compact Defence/ Stamina Hybrid, which are my favourite type combo.
I never got into Beyblade myself as a kid, but it's so wild to me seeing how deep this all goes, as well as how much fans the series has! 💙💙💙

Left my old collection from 2019 in my basement, just found it, am remembering that I gave my custom Beyblades new prefixes, so I made a cool set with the hell salamander layer and called it slaughtering salamander because alliteration and its really combat based

Ironically, defense or wide defense tips were used more in stamina builds in metal fight. Defense used low friction rubber tips (coated sharp) to prevent getting knocked out.

My favorite combo right now is Orb Egis, Sting, Quest (Yes the base combo for Hasbro's BBP line) It's a neat defense type with a cool free spinning gimmick
Sometimes I do use Around instead because it's a bit heavier
Funny you say that, ive always had a soft spot for orb egis and i wish quest actually performed better because its a really cool gimmic

Thats the whole reason i rebranded this channel to beyblade, it started out as a joke getting back into it when i was 17 and then realising just how much depth there is to funny spinning top game
Also because i like physics a lot and i want an excuse to explain physics things in the context of cool little games
I learned sliding launch really easily😅
also a worn variable works as an for quick/xtreme by being much faster but less aggressive
tips like zephyr and accel aren't as fast but they have more stamina, useful for if you want even more control or you want to stall

Favorite parts you say? You're in for a bit. So i have a pretty neat collection, just not neat and tidy. (most of the time i cram them into a box) But my collection is pretty good, i have First Uranus Metal Destroy 1A, World Solomon Zeta 2B, Abyss Longinus Spiral' 1B, and the holy king sitting in my bedroom Astral Spriggan Over High Xtend+'. I have a Burst Spriggan and a Unite' to put on it coming in the mail on monday so that will be cool! Anyways that is my GOOD SIDE of my collection, i have way too many more beys and parts to fit them into a youtube comment.
Mine best combo was of plastic gen
Dragoon f + normal weigh disc + fortress base
Now I can see why Valt thought bey battles were just Ziiipppp pulling it like this and then wupwupwupwup letting it go
I use Xtend and D77-p and union Achilles layer and sometimes when it’s not strong enough I use D88-p but warning this mod can sometimes use all its spin accept for D77-p try it out

Some people may be kinda critical on the surface but really they just like to flex their beyblade knowledge and thats just a part of the hobby for a lot of people

I have to disagree on your pick of the best stamina driver. An important part of the game that I didn’t see you mention was Life After Death, or LAD. This is an integral part of the game as drivers that don’t really have necessarily raw stamina, like Xtend+, Zone’+Z, or Drift, have LAD instead. This ends up being far more important than raw stamina since in opposite spin, these three drivers are able to outspun most other combos if you put them on good combos.
I agree, but this video was intended to be beyblade at its bottom stage core level and when i said bearing was the best driver i meant as in purely for pure stamina use
LAD and why its so important is great for another topic to go into more in depth and talk about how its quintessential to the meta
He said pure stamina. Bearing has the best pure stamina, but other drivers have better LAD. He probably chose to not include LAD because it's too advanced a concept for a beginner.
@Milgo revolve has the best pure stamina. Bearing is probably second or third.
But in terms of actual same spin performance, Atomic is the best. It destabilises bearing, revolve, xtend+ and many other drivers. But since its main attribute is destabilisation, revolve is better for pure stamina.
@@sylonisharma4660 revolve and eternal are tied for second, thats a basically uncontested fact.
@@ihavenolife8651 revolve outspins eternal easily is a same spin battle.
My favorite combo is Death Hyperion 1A Xplosion

And that is do not make any click sound from the launcher because it can damage it

I first started Beyblade back in the plastic generation and I had a trygle as my main beyblae. Unfortunately there was, like, only a couple of people who also had a beyblade and that was my sister and childhood friend, both of whom weren't as into it as I was.
Briefly collected metal fight stuff because the metal rings were cool after beyblade, seeing the dragoon bey be a bad guy was cool. I never got meteo, but I wanted to.
Then I just...stopped. Life happened and my interest in beyblade just up and disappeared.
A couple of years now, roughly the time this video would have come out, I had gotten back into beyblade. I can't remember why, just that the idea of the burst system introducing clicks, which I interpreted as beys having HP, was fucking wild. The gimmicks were also a lot more complex than the stuff I was used to. I'm slowly snagging things that catch my interest, and now that X is out I'm eyeing it for whatever is a good defense type. Also gunning for that L-Drago burst remake for nostalgia.
I think a lot of people are feeling the same way :) there has been a big resurgence in beyblade in recent years and i just so happened to get in when the time was right lol
(I also am very hyped for metal series remakes)
Do they still make metal launchers? I have a bunch of Beys but I need another launcher
Im afraid they arent being made anymore but they are far from being short in supply, you can still get them pretty cheap from ebay or beysandbricks
Question. I have a few original series beys lying around. Are these still legal to use? They look bigger and feel heavier...
They would be legal for tournaments (I assume your not referring to the police lol) just beyblade tournaments are split into different formats so you aren't competing with beyblades from different generations and in stadiums they weren't designed to be in. Theres a lot of information about tournaments on the World Beyblade Organisation site :)

In theory yes, you sometimes see tournaments for it pop up but nowadays it would be for special occasions like anniversaries of beyblade i believe
Can you make the captions shorter? Like divide them into 2 halves and play the first half first and after it finishes play the other half. I'm on mobile and the captions completely covers the screen
The way yt captions work are the worst putting them on, i just basically copy pasted sections of the script into it to speed it up
Only thing i could suggest is turning captions off or use the auto generated captions if u can

There are a few things wrong in this video. Revolve is the best tip for pure stamina. The D bottom from MFB is bad for defense. It's better for stamina. In fact it's the best tip for stamina in HTSC. The tip which is best for defense in MFB is RS or RSF.
Yeah i didnt have either of those tips, also i think you might have misinterpreted the point of the video. Its meant to be an entry level starting point to beyblade rather than a deep dive into everything all at once.
TBH even an entry level video needs a to have a little more depth. Also about the revolve thing, we are both wrong, Hybrid has the best pure stamina
And also sd (semi defense) is better than d in stamina and defense

What are some of the better defensive drivers in the Burst series?
Defence in burst has kind of taken a back seat compared to attack and stamina but imo its still my favourite
For me drift is the best stamina driver, low friction so decent stamina and wide round plate that can catch the ridge of the stadium and not get knocked out
Zone’+z also works but is a bit more stamina oriented unless worn down
@@Milgo Thanks! I'm just getting back into Beyblade and I'm hoping to build something defensive/stamina based, as well as tinkering around with Burst Draciel to see how it can be improved upon. Just casual for now until I get a better understanding of things.
The older beys remade in burst have pretty bad burst resistance sadly
Only thing you can do is compensate for it with a dash driver
Give this a go if you can, Draciel Fortress Wheel Zone’+z
Id also recommend trying other weight discs as some may rub up against the layer and add burst resistance but you’ll want it to be heavy to make up for how light draciel is

@@Milgo I was definitely planning on going with a heavier weight disc but was considering going with either the Atomic driver or the Orbit driver. Currently I've only invested in Hasbro stuff (including Pro series) but do eventually want to expand more into TT stuff. Thanks for responding. Its a plugin called sapphire that works with my editing software that lets me do effects like that easier along with stuff like transitions
Though some of it is just moving it about with keyframes

Theres not much to it you would just install the plugin (its not free :( ) and use the effect S_Shake on your editing software so long as its compatible
It should work on things like adobe premier or sony vegas

Rubber as a material creates more friction than plastic. Therefore a flat rubber tip will make your beyblade very fast at the cost of its stamina.
Back in MF they also used it for defence because higher friction tips are less likely to be knocked around.
