Fun fact about shoulder pets. They scale with your characters, shoulder size. Since you seem to have maxed out sliders, the monkey becomes massive when he’s on your shoulder. Lol

Now the dinos take reduced or amplified damage on parts from attacks, like shots before and also now from melee attacks, thats why the trike took no damage cause the theri was attacking his head

Syntac, since u noticed the headshot with the pike, u can also get headshots with creatures melee attacks which makes the trike very strong bc they take reduced headshot damage, and since u have good trikes breeding them would be very good
You didn’t mention it, but those 145 Trikes became 217 after you killed the adult.

When a triceratops is just casually hanging out a cliff when syntac is looking for monkey’s you honestly have great laugh😂
Pegos are honestly amazing early game guard dogs. I normally tame a few packs and breed them. Turn off pickpocket and they’re speedy, aggressive little friends.

It’s really fun being able to kinda be in a new chapter of Ark, I’m having tons of fun building and hopefully I’ll get into some pvp as well, you were always my inspiration to get into ark and I’m just glad my laptop can run ASA fairly smoothly. But your channel has always been really fun to watch and I have had a lot of fun times because of it, so thank you Syntac, wasn’t meaning for this to turn into an appreciation post but it’s ok.

Something regarding raptor freaking out: babies freak out when near dead bodies. You can only prevent this when they are on passive.
Theris are the reason that, in the early game, I don't go anywhere without a pack of carnivore dinos. Usually a mix of raptors and dilos. They protect my pack of perrys from wandering hostile dinos. I usually find that a handful of both on hand will usually stop most of the miscellaneous Dino threats I encounter. Only super high level theris, rexes, and spinos are a problem. One usually negated by the high level stego that is my go-to early game mount
LOL the Trike in the wall @ 22:46 , think thats what had those Raptors distracted 😅
Trikes can harvest wood with their charge (at least they used to be able to in ASE). It was my main wood gatherer in Ab before I was able to get a roll rat

I just started watching this series which was episode 1, 2, and 3 and they were great episodes but episode 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 were all great episodes and im a few minutes in this episode, all i gotta say is that this series been a banger and i cant wait for episode nine! keep it up syntac!

you can adjust the elevation of the foundation. just left click once when you get it where you want and use the mouse to move forward or back to raise or lower the foundation.

Best part about stonehenge pond, the coral down below can give you a little bit of oil and metal, its not much but it's enough to get some jerky going for kibble making or repairing some tools in a pinch
ye i had just finally gotten an Anky and was farming the ocean near my base, found out the coral reefs drop a lot of stone and a little metal and oil as well.

Attack of the Tickle Chicken 4: the Reckoning. Seriously those things hate you having anything.
I remember trying to do a perfect tame on a 150 stego for breeding purposes way back in the day, built spiked walls all the way around it and was using kibble and a T-Rex stepped over it and ruined it
With that narrow gap, you could layer up foundations up either side, useful for baiting in a dino and using it as a rat run and snipe them from safety

You can tell Syn's taking his time because Craptor was an episode 8 tame, and not a 1 or 2er. Also might have the record for shortest lived Craptor, lol.
