- Are the orangutans the best mums in the world?
In any case, they certainly deserve the title of most dedicated mothers. The baby clings tightly to their mother's fur until the age of 4, lavished with exclusive attention until they turn 8.

They aren’t monkeys! Great apes please.
Monkeys have tails!!!
Exactly
monkeys are bad animals, apes are noble
@@skysoldier1127 monkeys fucking suck, apes are awesome.
I was just going to write the same thing!! 👍
Sentient Beings, they are beautiful ❤❤
Down with Palm oil!
They are amazing and beautiful
what a fantastic being
Sweetness overload ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why's the narrator calling the orangutans monkeys 😂
That was a little disturbing.
Because they're idiots LOL
It's not difficult to tell the difference.
Its AI....not a person
i love watching these shows , they make me feel so happy even when i feeling my worst ! thank you GOD !
1:46 _’…these monkeys…’_ LOL exactly what I’d expect from Birute’s Eco-Tours Habitat (aka cuddly babies orang utans farm). She triflin
It's actually the Palm industry that is destroying the orangutans habitat, many become orphaned by poachers and the Dr. is working to raise them and release them gradually it's a highly specialized program. Not a baby farm
@@windwhisprz No it's a petting zoo (for anyone with passport); Birute *_still_* does require staff or visitors to wear protective garments -- especially face masks! Literally all throughout pandemic: null face masks. You're dreaming if you believe they srsly rehabilitate _anything_ at Camp Leakey's Eco Tours.
Beautiful ❤️
He was Borneo in Borneo.
Ils sont tellement beaux
Monkeys?....OK!
Every time they said monkey I cringed.
They suffer the same damage a human baby would if removed from their mother.
Thats because they are us, the difference in our DNA is tiny
@@corinth492actually their DNA is only 97 percent similar to that of a humans dna .

Meanwhile, human Mothers in the US have been taught for the last 60+yrs, that returning to work, at careers away from their young children, soon after birth is ‘Empowerment’.
I believe Mothers & Fathers should consider what is best for our children’s mental/emotional development ..
also, the value of Mothers contributions to her creative Gifts to her Home, Family & Community.
It costs thousands of dollars to have a baby at the hospital and thousands more to prep during pregnancy, yes women need to work cause this country and MEN punish women for having children. We have to work to get $$ to feed that baby. Complain to the men.
Most women don’t return to work after having children because it’s “empowering”, they do it because they have to do so to help provide for themselves and their family. Making sure that their children have a safe home and food to eat is their primary concern when returning to work, not because they think it will affirm some societal notion of empowerment to themselves. Men are never criticized for doing the exact same thing and, are even judged if they stay home and the woman returns to work. Do whatever you want to do with your life and your children but, stop passing judgment onto other people based on your ideals, especially when not knowing the unique and nuanced circumstances of others….
Yes we have been tricked to go against each other instead of our "leaders". Look at the brainwashing shown in the comment above..smh

This is not an Monkey!!! But like us!! Human aaps!! 😮you must learn youre lesson ! There realy likes us!! 97 % ,the same DNA!! and 9 monds the same like us, before the baby coming!! ❤
Except that we are different..

They apes not monkeys
They are orangutan great apes . Not monkeys . Monkeys have tails . Apes don't.
You are suppose to be an expert. An Orangutan is an APE, not a monkey. Jeez, that's basic
Prisoner? They’re babies, their moms were killed by people who need to be prisoned.
Though I will say, it must feel like prison if you’re removed from your home to live somewhere smaller. That’s both a bad and good thing.
If you're going to do a documentary at least learn the fact that orangutans are not monkeys!!!!!
Orangutans are opportunistic to say the least
Thats rediculous. They are giving and share more than any animal ive seen. Wheres your proof?
@@jonaswhite5842 Bonobos share the most Ourangs by nature standards are solitary animals although because of deforestation that is changing a bit. But still I stick wise they are very much for self they only start living in groups because we've forced them
Not true
Can agree to that deforestation which is resulting in Jungle Schools is changing thier habits for sure
These monkeys are cool. I want one as a pet...
Jk jk jk
Showing video of Dr Birute Galdikas and then calling them monkeys.
No way in hell would she allow that to happen.
Somethings not right here.
She’s senile
She was interviewed but likely wasn't involved otherwise. That said, the producers didn't need the world's foremost expert on orangutans to tell them that these are apes, not monkeys. Sloppy research and editing
@@Hastalaverga420 Bingo Gringo!
@@Cara-39 Regardless, she'll shill for anyone for a -bit of publicity- buck: Always has, always will. just read Linda Spalding's [1999 book] _A Dark Place in the Jungle_
After the state stripped her of her research permit(s) (in early-80s), she's cultivated her resources solely toward$ orangutan exploitation (primarily through eco tours & self-promotion). You're dreaming if you really believe she's anything more than a parasite off the plight of orang-utans. If she didn't have access to infant orang-utans she'd be nowhere near Borneo
@@Cara-39 ..at the very least, read _Outside_ (magazine) expose: *_The Jungle Took Her_* [May 1998]
It is disgusting how these people exploit these animals for money and fame. They could not care less about the health or safety of these animals and they all should be ashamed of themselves.
Lol, they are protecting them .
@@haha-cm6pg That's what you think. Do some research and I bet you anything you will delete your naive and ignorant comment.
Killing them so much more humane. You must be a liberal.
Not true.
@@alayneperrott9693 That's what I thought.. you have nothing more to say. Next time you better think twice before you attempt to challenge me.
orangutans are the laziest animal ever
Why not....
It's ok with me...or do you want them to go to work 5 days s week??😂
Meanwhile, humans are slave species. They can't live without money...so they need to go to work 😊
