I am so glad to see your enthusiasm and continued sharing regarding the 1911 platform in addition to the many updated firearms like the P320 with various grip frames and upgrades you have shared. As I mentioned to you before I have always thought the Raptor II was the best version of a Kimber and both are great, however that stainless pro is fabulous. Here I thought well that Guardian is about the fanciest 1911 I would have and then you go and remind me of this one, not to mention you Sig Emperor Scorpion Carry...LOL. Wow you got through 2 shooting sessions of 300 .45 ACPs each and I got tuckered out at about 140 rounds with the Guardian. Keanon thanks so much!
I've had the stainless Pro Raptor for 10 plus years, it's been a great gun. I don't carry it very often, too bulky for me. I have other guns for EDC. It sits on my night stand for home defense.
@@waynecastleman1363 I have two Raptors. One that's black that is full size. And the stainless 4 inch commander size model. What I like most on the stainless model is the bull barrel. Both have been flawless with no malfunctions (knock on wood)
@dickeymoore3662 I'm fortunate not to have had any malfunctions with these Kimbers. My other ones I got rid of is another story. I've run HST 230 gr JHP and Sig Elite 230gr JHP with no issues.
Between the 4 inch vs 5 which do you prefer? I’m debating on the blue version. Did you get the Ed brown main spring housing? Wondering if the blue would match up.
@@KeanonGilliamSlang369 Lol me too. I still have two hk trigger kits to put in. I heard the blue on the 4 and 5 inch is better blue then on the 3 kimpro finish. Hope all is well up in nc.
Whats the UPC code for this very model ? I just gotta have it I live behind the iron curtain in NJ so im waiting for my pistol permit i applied for to clear then i will order it. Any suggestions on who has the best price?
@boricuaarecibo9259 Unfortunately I don't have the case to get the UPC code. However, you might be able to get it from Kimber's website. Oh, I know about NJ rules. As retired LEO, I have a permit to carry in various states. I only carried 1911s, this being one of them. My "Jersey Gun" Thanks for watching, greatly appreciate it!
These are beautiful guns, but the biggest problem is the LOW CAPACITY. A similar sized Glock half the weight, holds 15 + 1. No comparison. It's too bad because I really like these Kimbers. Unfortunately, they are a complete failure with such a low capacity. Kimber needs to stop smoking crack and redesign these guns and increase the capacity because they cannot compete in todays higher capacity guns.
@jackvernon Well, Kimber has just put out their first doubled stacked 1911s a few weeks ago. Check out the videos on TH-cam. We sell them at the store I work at. The 1911 double stacks are all the rage now. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciate it!
Love those Raptors, especially in black. Sweet collection mate. Great vid 👍
@leejackson2969 Thank you! Thanks for watching, greatly appreciate it!

Just bought that gun yesterday for just under 1500, from bass pro shop. Thanks for the video I look to learn alot.
@Mattithyahuw YisaEL Congrats on your new firearm! Buy Wilson Combat magazines for increased reliability. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciate it!

@alandeniston9229 Great choice for night stand firearm. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciate it!
Awesome pair of pistols.. thanks for the show and tell. That stainless has a great look.
@Andrew Lautenbach Thanks! To me the Raptor line is the best of the Kimber line. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciate it! 👍
I've had one that I edc since 2016ish. Polished a few parts but the best thing I did was add an Ed Brown chainlink mainspring housing.
@LAST CRUSADER Nice! Ed Brown makes very good parts for 1911s. Thanks for watching, greatly appreciate it!
I love the looks of the Raptor series. I guess I need to add this to the list. Nice, Nice , Nice.
@Wayne Castleman Love the Raptor series. Thanks as usual for watching, greatly appreciate it!

@@waynecastleman1363 Thanks I appreciate that! I'm not the best but I try.
Keanon as per our conversation last night on buying a 1911 in 9mm, so how is this Raptor working out, I really like this pistol.

Nice carry gun. Good that you know sometimes you pull low left because of finger placement and pull.
@C Kim I try to critique myself on my shooting to get better.
Have you had any malfunctions with this Kimber and have you shot hollow points out of this gun if so how did it run?

I prefer the 4 inch. No, I didn't get the Ed Brown main spring ... just lazy.
