I almost do not want to ever fire this gun. It is too dang beautiful. I wish I could afford 2 of them so one can be a Queen!

I have a Custom Shop Ultra CDP II. It is my favorite carry weapon. Favorite handgun without doubt. With regards to the feed jams... I noticed you are shooting blunt nosed rounds. I used to have the same jams you describe on occasion, but then I switched to round nose FMJ rounds and haven't had a single feed/extraction/jam issue since. I've put thousands of rounds through the gun. Great weapon.

You hit the nail right on the head Kimber Custom shop achieved total perfection when they birthed this, got opportunity to check one out at local gun shop, would have purchased except the fact I was already going to purchase a Colt commander 1911 .38super for my father. Great video an quality, will be adding this to the collection here shortly for sure!

However, after being at the New Life Church shooting/killings a few years ago I realized I should be carrying. We bought a Rem 870 20 gauge for home defense and then went to a gun show this weekend to look at hand guns. I handled two dozens guns when I saw this one -it fit so well, so balanced. We walked away with a new weapon (after 10 day wait)! Looks like we chose well!

the front of barrel is not shaved or rounded off which is much better for holstering. and looks....trigger guard not scalled, trigger should NOT be scalled but is, will give you a blister.....WHERE DO I GET THAT SPACER?
I could not agree more; I just bought one of these; accurate ; reliable; and this is my new carry gun. I was looking for an accurate 3 inch barrel; this is it!!! I also own a commander size SW 1911PD; this gun is more accurate.

I just got the KIMBER ULTRA CRIMSON CARRY II love it very accurate for a 3" barrel. Love the raptor, love the looks and feel, may have to save the pennies and get a stainless pro Raptor, gee this gun lark is very addictive. Wonder if the have a 12 step program, I know my wife would sign me up for it, secret is to not tell her the combo of the safe. What the eye don't see the heart don't greave. ;o)
@weaponseducation Will do. So far customer service has been great. Another guy on youtube was having similar problems and was 100% satisfied when he got his back. I'm sure I will have the same experience
@MrTR3gunzz The bodyguard is tiny, referring to the Bodyguard 380 semiauto, which is what I have. I have videos of it. The gun is tiny.. it is a pocket pistol. If you want something little larger and heavier, there are 9mm that are slightly larger but smaller than average 9mm sizes. It's hard to recommend a gun without physically knowing you and your needs. I like the bodyguard 380 because I can put it in my pocket...period.
Are you kidding me? All I own are the Kimber Kimpro magazines because of their quality. I ran across one of my older Kimpro magazines the other day that had been fully loaded in a range bag that I no longer use...and haven't for more than 2 years. I took the magazine to the range and checked it out...not one problem with it. I have never had a problem with any of my Kimber magazines...or my Kimbers.

I have had mine for quite some time and I put it in a kydex and leather holster everyday. kydex while carry and leather at night. I had a handful of guns and this is my choice to carry. Besides my bodyguard when going light.
@4FourFiveByMySide5 It may be from knuckleheads racking the slide just to touch it... consider it sought after by many buy owned by one. You can polish the scratches out I bet but do your research.. you don't want to ruin perfection.

Hey, i have a couple questions about this 1911. I really like this gun a lot and i am thinking about getting it and possibly carry it. Would you recommend getting this gun in stainless to shoot often and carry or think the black finish will hold up better? Once i get a holster for this gun i dont want to get major holster wear on it. Do you think that it would do this with a stainless gun? Also does it scratch easily or have scratches show up more than a parkerized or blued gun? Thanks a lot
@nicker3290 Let me know how Kimber takes care of you. That should not happen. Then again , nothing is perfect. If they disappoint you lets make a video on it... I love all my Kimbers. I'm going to the range next week to shoot a hundred rounds recorded live, my wife will get good close ups...

kimber has guns that if your in a night gun fight and you have to breakdown your weapon, your dead!
