No sir. You would be to cut both ends of the top piece (baffle) with those same angles. If you done and try to use a flush trim bit, it will cut back into the top pierce (baffle) edges, until the flush bearing touches a surface. Hope that helps bro 🤙🏽
@@210Designs okay so that top piece is gonna be an angle cut on each side and should fit in between or on top of the box? Hope that makes sense what I’m asking
@@TaylaFam - Yes, the top piece fits over the two angle piece, not inside 👌🏽 Click the link below and skip to 1:38. It shows the top piece setting I place, with the top/bottom areas cut to the same angles. Let me know if have anything else bro 👍🏽 th-cam.com/video/FaNxfaokShE/w-d-xo.html
I try and simplify them as much as possible. If I have a box with multiple different angles, I separate them into squares, rectangles and wedges. Then measure each individually. Once I get each internal cf, I add them together. Keeping in mind I’ll be off a little, so I deduct accordingly. You just wanna get as close as you can, but it’ll never be perfect. Think of it like playing horseshoes 👍🏽
Is there a certain program you use to figure an enclosure or how you figure the size of the box needed. I can build it I just can't figure the sq. in. or what not. I asked you on another post of you can help me with dimensions of my build but didn't hear a whole lot back from you, any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm sure won't be as good as yours cause your boxes are fire bro.
AZ Coues Hunter - I’m sorry for not getting back with you bro. My bad! I’m am very forgetful and miss a lot of emails and social media messages. If you gave my email, shoot me a detailed message. Acura Rsx - My truck boxes start at $250 and go up from there. Pricing changes, based on: wood type, box type, fabric used and degree of difficulty. Currently I’m only setup to build locally.
The main reason for an angle box is for fitment in the vehicle. Most truck boxes fit under the seat and will require “angle style” subwoofer box. Some people build angle boxes, to give it a more custom look 👌🏾
i like to just get some scrap pieces and practice getting that angle right on them,i have tons of scrap, and also instead of putting the ends inside like you have them,on a wedge box where i have to cut the ends with a jig saw i decided to just put them on the outer ends, that way they dont have to be perfect, just the top and bottom piece with a 45 or what ever, man i hate these damn small boxes,i hate building them,im doing one for two sa 8's then after that a box for one nsv4 18 inch,so that will just be a huge easy box,so i will spend a lot of time and really make it look nice, hate small truck boxes haha
Yessir, that’s definitely another good way to do it for sure 👌🏾 I use to hate truck boxes at first, but now have gotten so use to building them, it’s not that bad. Only issues I have is when the customer wants to force-fit subs in one 😆 And with the larger builds, yes way more room to work with 🙌🏽🙌🏽 makes the build pieces easier to work with. You gotta post these bro 👀👀👀
Jordan Hernandez - Sorry about that bro. Think there’s a guy in the Texas area building great boxes. He’s on instagram @ “Kast” something. His last name is Hammond tho. You might try and hit him up 👌🏾
These types of videos are invalueable. Hard to google specific answers and this is exactly what i'm looking for and a lot of under seat guys are too.

What’s the purpose of having an angle box? Does is sound different than a cube box or the same?
