I haven't seen enough ballet to know what makes a male ballet dancer really good, but the way that Muntagirov does those leaps literally takes my breath away. He looks like he's on a cable system.
The BEST of the BEST..that’s what these two are. We need to understand that classical ballet is *not* gymnastics, as some might have us think. It requires a soulful capacity to also act! Like dying and going to heaven watching this company perform .. especially Great works like this. Such profound grace. ❤️
Confession: I watch Nela videos before a ballet tech class because she inspires me to dance more precisely. That balance tho! WOW! Such a treasured ballerina of our time.
All ballerinas must have perfect technique, thas is their profession . Nunez is wide : the back, shulders, waist so in all roles looks powerful. Young dancers are better and shapely than her.
Omg I'm obsessed with Marianela...que linea, que tecnica, y que emocion in everything she does...she not only dances beautifully...she ACTS THE PART. Bravo from an Uruguayan fan! 😍
I'm happy that a k drama causes so many people to get interested in something so magnificent and pure as ballet, hopefully you knew what this was about before drama cause that would be tragic if you didn't, especially this ballet. And I'm not talking about not having watched it but about the name and the story.
Never seen another ballerina as fluid as well as strong and ultimately graceful since Natalia Makarova until I had seen Marianela...she is breathtaking!
Nunez is really impressive along with Osipova who are currently dancing, but Makarova was not among outstanding performers of Giselle. Ulanova, Fracci, Maximova were the most outstanding whose videos are still available.
I swear if one more person comments "omg is anyone else here because of Angel Last Mission" as if there already isn't at least 50 commets like that I'm going to pull my hair out lmao
It's not a bad thing though, I came from the drama to understand the story of Gizelle. Now I become genuinely interested and already fall in love with dancers. Mainly Natalia osipova
@@dahliassalvias7972 I'm glad you have found your way here and become interested in the ballet and you make a good point. I was mainly talking about the people who don't even acknowledge the ballet instead just keep going on about the k-drama (I mean if you want to talk about k-drama go somewhere more appropriate and doesn't bother others).
@@cooperino people just comment for the sake of commenting these days. They don't appreciate anything accept how many likes they get from comments. A bloody shame.
There's nothing wrong with commenting that someone came here because of Angel's Last mission. Because of it they came to know about it and found this beautiful performance.
I love how elegant this is. When they jumped (don’t know the saying for it first time seeing this) they look so elegant and I felt so satisfied and when the dude jumped I felt like I was in the air it was amazing
Since you aren't yet familiar enough with ballet to know the correct term... The name for the jumps which both male and female dancers do (the ones in which they essentially do the splits in midair) is a "jete" and is pronounced zhe-tay. The term, like those for all other steps in ballet, is French in origin (because ballet began at the French royal court). The verb "jeter" in French means to throw...so the term "jete" suggests that the dancers are throwing themselves across the stage.
0:42 HOW does she hold that pose! Her strength and balance are astounding. This morning I managed to get tickets to see her dance this very ballet in November, I can't wait!
@@Pheebs77 Oh wow, well enjoy... it's a once in a lifetime or twice if you're lucky! I'm in Australia so the most I can hope for is for it to be filmed. 🤞🤞
vadim is the once in a generation male dancer everyone said Polunin would be - but isn't. Vadim has him beat in every way. his technique is just so perfect.
some of the comments came from viewers of kdrama Angel's last mission: love. Same same ALML brought me here. 🤩 We want a happy ending for our angel and ballerina, jebal 🤗🙏
Could we possibly get all of the mad scene and more of the 2nd act pdd? I always knew if any ballerina could make both Myrtha and Giselle as great as they could be, it would be Nela!
This is absoultely stunning. I adore this two dances but i think the lift at 2:08 needs a bit more work as they look a bit wobboly and correct throughout the lift. Other than that a truly gorgeous pdd

Wanferfull ballerina I love dis ballet i love fotebet❤
Please just upload everything you have of Marianela. I can't speak for everyone but her dancing definitely brightens my day.
Her smile alone brightens my life.
Her aura is just beautiful. I love her💗
Brilliant from this duo sensitive and glorious
One of the ,if not the best Giselles.
Well you definitely speak for me 😉

Trust me, he is one of the best male classical dancers in the world today.
To me, a good ballet dancer is anyone who mesmerizes you.
For example, I'm ASTONISHED by Steven McRae's port de brás in Mayerling.
He is indeed beautiful to watch - but Nunez' jumps are truly excellent too.
Absolutely stunning. Nuñez and Muntagirov are such a wonderful partnership.
This company has the most amazing dancers; so graceful and their chemistry is just amazing!
odette365 they all have incredible technique but what I love about the Royal Ballet is that they always put the story first no matter what
I totally agree!

Marianela's dancing has such a warmth to it. I love watching her.
Totally, and ALWAYS!
She such an emotional and wholesome dancer to the point where even a flick of her finger seems so celestial 😭❤️❤️
She is one of the most elegant and gifted dancers I’ve seen in such a long time. She will most definitely go down in history as a ballet G.O.A.T!!

I love Vadim's performing he just gets better & better ❤️
Marianela is so stunning to watch. I love both the dancers in this, they are amazing. Would love to see this in person one day.
bee I came here at a friend recommendation. Can you tell me what’s the story about?
So beautiful. She's so ethereal, she looks like she is actually passing through him as he sits there. Stunning.
The part where he passes right through her gets me everytime.
"Where did she go???" Kathryn Morgan
enency cruz I KNOW
Perfect technique, perfect score, perfect choreography.
Nunez is too big for this role and too heavy. Technique ? nothing special, others have better than her.

Nela is my favorite ballerina; love her. And Giselle is one of my favorite ballets. Thanks for posting.
What a wonderful Giselle! They’re both a pleasure to watch.

Angel last mission love ❤️❤️❤️but yeonseo performance was much more emotional and sad tbh i shed tears for a thousand times 🤧🤧🤧🤧
It's because they close the actress's face up and add intuition.
So stunning. They did an excellent job both in terms of the technical and emotional aspects.
Very impressive duet. Nunez is very graceful. She is among the best currently dancing ballerinas in this ballet.
